Not been listening to many of these podcasts.
Because there is an abundance of these available.
Everywhere!
During the season it's H&H.

But I listened to two in the last few days.
The first I just wished I had actually gone out, when I said I would.
The second was this one.

These guys seem to reiterate exactly my feelings on so many issues.
Especially Martin.
(Presumably Martin as in Ramsey)

None of this 'beating the drum' just for the sake of it.
So tired of these.

Credit where credit is due.
But equally happy to lash out at people at the club, where criticism is just.
In my opinion.

I sense the equal frustration, coming through from the lads.
Well certainly one of them.

Look forward to hear more with praise, and equal venom.
When deserved.

By the way don't get me started about Ross Wilson.
I probably would get kicked off the internet
Sin die!!

Why do you post as if you’re writing a poem? B-)

He has disappointed me.
Ten fold.
In what he has failed to achieve.
So far.

A title, European Final and a Scottish Cup, while also replacing a manager..?

I’ll guess you don’t know his role or the parameters within that role.

Yes, he’s likely made mistakes. But the vehemence simply confirms it’s about social media extremes than a reasoned analysis of his performance.

Ok please enlighten us?
Happy to be informed what he does, and his remit.
As long as it's not just your opinion.

You can have your opinion.Which I respect.
I don't care.

Please allow me to have mine.

The Rangers Rabble is a great podcast.
Martin and JD are both great hosts. JD had me in stitches the last pod when he said Aribo will be so happy with his runners up medal and half season Rangers Rabble trophy.
Most of the guests are good value.

It's a good pod. The guys on there tend to be a bit more off the cuff than the H&H podders, which is fine - I like both styles. They will vent a bit more like posters on here will about lack of transfer activity etc.

That being said, when the Gio appointment was imminent, they managed to find a Dutch football expert to come on with some insight and that chap has been - so far - pretty much bang-on in everything he said about what we could expect (both good and bad) from Gio.

It is definitely worth watching imo.

Their post match videos on YouTube are a good watch. They are usually on a few minutes after full time and talk about the game.

I like the H&H car pod too- but it’s always up later as they record and then upload, whereas the Rabble guys are able to stream live.

If you have no idea, how can he be a disappointment? I'll say this again, as I did to someone else, you're just about mistaking him as nothing more than a glorified chief scout; you have very little idea what he really does, in totality, and if you were that interested I'm sure you could get a fair bit of that, but still you appear to criticise him for something that basically revolves around recruitment. A lot of good things are happening on the playing side, but his critics can ignore those; they can ignore Lowry and a few others coming through, ignore the transition from manager to manager that won cup and got to a European final; even recently, ignore that Connor Goldson renewed his contract. Ignore all that, and his role at the club, of which you appear to have not a clue about; criticising him for a job, when you really don't understand much of what that job entails.

Ok Ross.
You have had your say.

Listen to what Martin says on the 'Rabble'.
About running down certain players contracts.

What's the point.

I will leave it at that.

Rangers Rabble
Gallant Few
Club At 22
Gersnet
Battle Fever
This is Ibrox

All good to listen to in addition to H&H

Although the last few on that list haven't been active since the end of the season, which is fair enough

As far as players running down their contracts, if they are not willing to extend their contracts and clubs don't meet our asking price then it is going to happen.

Should we compromise with our asking prices in these situations?
He would be getting pelters on here for it if he did.

You are asking for my opinion?

Firstly.I know it's a 'catch 22' situation.
But if Aribo, Morelos, and Kent don't sign new contracts, I don't believe we can afford to let them run down their existing ones, and have all the power, and walk away for nothing.

Goldson in my opinion should have been told this last season.
Sign or else we will have to sell.
He was bought for 3 million?
We after winning the league last season, we should have at least, got double that.

It's a very dangerous game, giving the players, and their agents all, the power.
After what has just happened with Goldson, we may find that these players I just mentioned play the waiting game. Juts like Goldson.

We are not cash rich that we can just let our best assets run down their contracts and walk away for nothing.

This is bad business.
In ...my opinion.

Well the players have freedom to make the choice to re sign or not. Look at Pogba, Mbappe etc etc.

Also we might not see the value in given a new deal to a player for many amounts of reasons too and off load them. However that means having a buyer which again we can force upon clubs like players and new deals.

Ross Wilson has down a lot in the background at Ibrox and RTC for Gerrard and Mullholland since being here and his job isn’t just bringing in players and shouldn’t be judged on it either.

That's a maybe.
Whatever.

His time will be judged though surely on the what happens with the players. In and Out.
And whether they bring success to the club.
