Rangers Revenues v celtc.

They are doing fine and so are we. They are not in death spiral and we are not going bust. They have a bit more cash to play with and some cash reserves but we are cutting the gap every year. Their advantage might remain or we might eclipse them but either way the difference between the clubs won't be huge. Nobody will be buying the league.

£40m CL money next season might say different.

look at some of the shite they have spunked money on
Aye, that will be a big factor but if I were a scum fan I would be wanting to know how much the board had syphoned off over the last 10 years when we were weak and they should have been strengthening for us coming back up.

An extra £30m in revenue adding £20m+ in Net profit would be great, particularly for us but it won't be a game changer.
This is because neither club is going to blow the lot in one season in new players. Even if they did it wouldn't guarantee CL money the following season. David Murray's high risk high return player spending model is gone.
If one team keeps dominating significantly in Europe for three to five years that is a game changer, if they invest wisely.

We will see a massive improvement in commercial revenue next year apparently, as for players sales we have to start selling players for profit and gain a bit of a reputation as a selling club, will help us ask for bigger fees if a few players go onto do well at other clubs
We have only recently got a commercial director and a sporting director who are delivering. Next ten years financial results are what matters. We were in the con man doldrums for the best part of a decade. Player sales? £50million walked out the door in 2012 with nothing back, in lower leagues our player assets were low. Our other assets stripped for years.
We have turned down bids and i think will continue to do so if they fail to meet our evaluations. We are in a good place as long as we get the Aribo's, Kent's and Morelos's of the squad to sign extensions to protect our investment.
Gio will move guys on for his own players, that will likely mean profit coming in.
Celtic, for every Dembele deal there are 5 Ajeti's. Their model is flawed. The Jack Hendry fiasco highlighted that. Their squad is weak. They dont own their best players. They have a no name manager they dont trust enough to bring his own team and taking massive gambles in markets like Japan and Isreal because they cant afford to shop in European markets anymore. They also have a potential class action that will wipe millions off their asset sheet.
I would rather be where we are sitting right now.

Remember when it was just them in the league, they could sell their best players without even worrying about how to replace them or the effect it would have on their title chances. They also didn’t need to worry if the player was ‘unhappy’ about them not accepting lower bids and their performance dropping off a bit. They had literally zero challenge. Model becomes a lot harder when the jeopardy of not winning the league by weakening the squad comes into play.
