The police and Manchester council did all they could to put Rangers supporters off travelling. They seriously underestimated how much we wanted a party. And what a party it was. When the crowds turned up police and organisers had no idea how to manage the numbers. The biggest lesson they learnt was don't intentionally switch off the match when thousands upon thousands of bears are watching it on big screens. That mistake caused a riot.
