Why it was at the Apollo?

Went every year with my Ma and Da. Brilliant Nights. Lex McLean was the compare and there were guest entertainers. Players attended and the sing song at the end of the night was the highlight!

I was involved in a few when I was on the supporter's association executive.
There were a couple held at Ibrox with a stage being built in front of the broomloan

I went to a few in the Kelvin Hall in the early 80's.Biggest memory was a guy doing an Al Jolsen tribute and he went down like a lead ballon,the audience were giving him dogs abuse and Andy Cameron have them a rollicking after it.
