My current RTV annual subscription finishes in the end of August. I’ve decided to move to Kenya tomorrow. Can I apply just now for the international version to watch live games?

Don't see why not. My understanding is that RTV looks at your location when you log on for live matches. So if you logon to see a game from eg Kenya on a full subscription you should be good to go. If you're back in the UK on holiday your RTV ordinarily won't let you watch matches live then, though you can get them on playback later. You may need to update your address details when getting the new sub though to be on the safe side.

In order to subscribe to the overseas subs, monthly or annual, you need to either be overseas or use a VPN in order to appear overseas. Similarly with purchasing individual matches to screen live. You do not need to change your registered address or use an overseas credit/debit card to pay.

Its all done based on your ip address

If you are uk based but in Poland for a weekend you do not need to have a Polish address and post code in your account to buy a live game, just a Polish IP address

I’ve been considering this. I don’t really watch any other football games that don’t involve us, so I might just wait until closer to the new season to sign up. Scottish Sky Sports and Premier Sports are infested — I hate giving them money.
From the comments in here, it seems pretty straightforward. I can holiday in Kenya at a whim, so that should work well. I’ll probably still need to sign up separately for the European games, but I believe pay-per-view is an option for those?

I’m with you on that. I’ve no interest in what Sutton or Stewart have to say about our club

Re European games the following

CL play-off round to the final
EL and Conference League from the League phase to the final

won't be live on Rangers Tv anywhere in the world due to UEFA's central broadcast deals

RAngers TV does not have the rights for european games. Other than some play off rounds that might get shown, European games will not be shosn live

Cheers. I’m hopeless at searching on here for the bigger posts

I am sure we will soon see a new thread for 25/26 season

Am I right in my understanding here — the £60 subscription gives you access to the games that aren’t subject to UK broadcasting restrictions, but if you’re outside the UK, you can watch the other games on a pay-per-view basis? And if you go for the overseas subscription (e.g. if you’re in Kenya), you get access to all the games without the same restrictions?

The £60 one has no live games that is worldwide but you also can do PPV if you have it (VPN needed if UK)

There is 2 overseas packages - a monthly £24 and annual £240 that do give the live games excluding those European games I posted

Live domestic games home and away but not the euro games on the international sub

If 'outside the uk' (ie a non uk ip address) you can pay for games on a 'pay per view' basis.

If you are outside the uk the £240 packagd will give you the £60 contect plus all live games.

you get no live games on the £60 sub - they are available to rewatch - but nothing live.

That's if Kenya is an accepted country for transmission, I spend a good part of the year in Thailand, and have to use my VPN to say I'm in Europe to watch RTV

By the way, @UpperDeaconsbankLoyal I’d consider ‘re-locating’ somewhere other than Kenya LOL. You will get a much better stream from RangersTV if you were to ‘re-locate’ to countries nearer to home - I’d suggest The Netherlands, Belgium, France or Germany

Everything anyone needs to know should be in the ‘bumper’ thread linked above. Unlikely anything changes for this season that wasn’t there last season.

When are the first round of TV fixtures due out @rangeral how far will it take us up to do you think?
First 2 rounds are done with initial selection for Round 4 - Rangers v Celtic (I know they have selected 2 games at Festive period already as well)

I would reckon by mid-July they confirm maybe Rounds 3-5 that covers w/e 23rd, 30th August & 13th September

Round 6 27th September onwards probably won't confirmed until the situation with Europe is known
