>>GAME NOT AVAILABLE ON RANGERSTV WORLDWIDE<<

DISCUSSION OF ILLEGAL LINKS WILL RESULT IN A BAN

We could win. We could get pumped. I just don’t know with this team of ours anymore.

Our recent home form is frighteningly bad, and tomorrow is a far tougher game than any of the previous 5 we’ve lost.

We really need a win tomorrow to stand any chance of progression, but I fear the worst.

3-0 Rangers.

No idea how we could lineup tomorrow. Maybe something like

Kelly
Tav Balogun Propper Sterling
Cerny Barron Raskin Yilmaz
Igamane
Danilo

The way we've built this team is criminal because it's so weak all over the park.

3-1 Rangers.

Folk are acting like this is prime Barca 2008-12 we are playing here.

We’ve played against, competed well against and even beat teams of a similar level in the last 5 seasons.

The added edge of Bilbao hosting the final is probably the biggest thing that goes against us because Bilbao will want to win it for sure, but we need to just conjure up everything we’ve got and a little more and show that we aren’t a wee diddy team from Scotland and we can fight with the best.

For that reason, I’m going 3-1 Rangers because our players will want this, and some will want it again.

Thursday nights seem to be our forte. Shame about Saturdays and Sundays especially at home!! Play like we did against Hibs we're in for a torid evening. Give it 100% Lads for crying out loud. That's what we all want. Play for the Jersey. Do It Bears. C'MON THE RANGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the lineup will be (5 3 2)

Butland
Sterling Tavernier Balogun Nsiala Jefte
Raskin Barron
Lawrence
Cerny Igamane

You are forgetting we were 100x better in the Europa league run etc than we are now.

Really worried about our home form, which is scandalous to say considering Ibrox should always be our fortress, but I think we will do well on a counter.

Butland
Sterling Tav Balogun Propper Yilmaz
Cerny Raskin Barron
Igamane Danilo

I’m nervous but very excited. No matter our form, I’m always excited for our games, especially European Thursdays!

Nail hammer head.

This isn’t an exceptional team we’re playing.

They’re not bad.
They’re rightfully favourites.

But…come on.

4th in Spain…it’s…good.

But theres Barcelona. Theres Real Madrid. Theres Atletico Madrid.

Then…you can take your pick.

“4th in Spain” isn’t some stamp of quality. It’s not something incredible.

Are they better than us ? Yes.

Do they have some quality players? Yes.

Is one game against them at Ibrox something to be feared ? Absolutely not.

Just get a good result tomorrow and we can worry about progression next Thursday.

Yeah, they're a decent side but not a great one. What kind of side we are tonight is another question. Hopefully we can find our best European form.

They're also fourth by virtue of not losing many games but they draw loads.

They have won less than half of their games in the league.

They are rightly favourites but as you say, they're not some amazing world class side and their goals have dried up lately as well. Score early and it's game on.

Gutted I can't be there tonight. The players have shown they can raise it and the fans have a massive roll to play, let's make Ibrox rock.

Thursday nights are Rangers nights!!

3-1 the Kings XI... "Make Rangers Great Again" B-)

Past trying to predict what this team will do anymore, content just to strap in and prepare for a rollercoaster.

For what it's worth I don't see Barry making too many changes to the side despite what he said on Saturday post-match.

Depends which Rangers team turns up!,
Fan's are gonna be up for it!
Make us PROUD Rangers.
2-0 to the famous.

I don't see Butland getting left out tonight.
If we had a decent back up keeper, Butland would have been benched by now.
If Kelly is going to replace him, barring injury, it will be in a league game.

Usually quite confident with European games, but this is Rangers under Barry Ferguson at home. We've given every side we've played at Ibrox a 2-0 lead under Ferguson and lost without a whimper, and this is a side a level above. Really hope I'm wrong, but suspect will be a long night.

Butland - Tav, Balogun, Propper, Jefte - Cerny, Sterling, Barron, Raskin, Yilmaz - Dessers

4-5-1 with Sterling in midfield or 5-4-1 with Sterling as a third CB.

I can't see him dropping Butland or using the likes of Bajrami, Hagi or Danilo from the start. Maybe Igamane for Dessers as the number 9 or Lawrence instead of Yilmaz in the midfield 5 but I think it'll be as tight and compact a set up as he can manage.

Won't be pretty but given the noises he's made last weekend and yesterday I think we'll be watching hoofball for the rest of the season. It's damage limitation stuff.

Fancy us tonight, 2-1.

Keep Nico quiet and we’ve a very good chance.

However, I feel that we’ve actually regressed under Ferguson (as much as I love him) and not sure we will get it right tonight.

Less confident than usual, but still fancy us 2-1.

We've beat better teams than them in Europe in recent seasons so no reason as to why we can't win this.

If there’s anyone I would trust with a fixture like this, to imbue the players with the spirit of Walter, it’s our current manager. 10 men behind the ball, and come away with a 1-0 victory to defend resolutely in the return leg.

We had a better team as well to be fair when we beat these teams.
We've beat Fenerbache and Real Betis who were very good teams we also should've beat Spurs. This mob are clearly a good team but they are not unbeatable and Thursday nights are Rangers nights.

Could maybe see us doubling up with fulls backs, given they are quite good in the wide areas. That would push Cerny into almost a second striker / free role. Only alternative would be to go 5 at the back, which is a possible too.

Going by the way Barry Ferguson was talking in his presser, I think we might see a surprise in the line up also.

We got to Seville by being brave especially at Ibrox and letting the crowd get into the games. (We lost away in Belgrade, Braga and Leipzig)

We got to Manchester by being pragmatic and hard to score against so ties were live at all times. (We were in every tie after a tight first leg other than Bremen - pana, Lisbon and fiorentina)

I suspect Ferguson will go for the smith pragmatic approach but I cannot lie I would love to see us try;

Butland/Kelly
Sterling-Tav-Propper-Yilmaz
Barron-Raskin
Cerny-Danilo-Hagi
Igamane

Be brave and try get something to see out over there. This lot are obviously a good team but an early goal for us could be massive and lead to a real momentum shift to us if the crowd spooks them.
