Would that be "In the County Tyrone near the town of Dungannon"? :D

I think there are Rangers clubs in Enniskillen and Omagh too.

Also, does anyone know if the RSC in Lisburn still going?
Yeah there’s ballinamallard RSC I know the lads who run it, and also a co. Fermanagh loyal who I think runs trips a few times a year.

The omagh one is still going they are a member of the north ulster federation.

As far as I know Lisburn club is still running strong, they are pretty active on their fb page which I follow

It was great in the days when bus runs between clubs were a regular occurrence. We were spoilt in Whitehead because we picked up the STV games and buses came from all around.

Getting those, even once a year, bus runs going again could make a huge difference for clubs.
Defo mate, clough used to be the same, it was only place round north antrim you could watch the games. Used to be packed out on a weeknight or Sunday afternoon when the games were on

Yes there is definitely at least one club still on the go. Met a few guys on the way back from feyenoord from a club in lisburn.

I was a long time member in Whitehead and lots of friends in Carrick. If your needing help arranging anything give me a shout
Whitehead club was always good. I know a few boys who went there every fa cup final day they loved it. Would have a drink round Carrick a lot of good bears down there too.

That is true. Couldn't tell you the last time I was in clough Rangers. Used to be a real good bar for matches when I was young. Any idea how it's going now.
The club is doing well the past couple of years.

Have had a good influx of younger members and it's helped push functions and getting crowds in.

Last year is the best year we've had since I've been a member. We were unfortunate that we had two massive functions cancelled due to the covid.

The local clubs in Ballymena have helped us massively this past year too, we had three days where they all came out for a Sash Bash. The last day for the Hearts cup game we must've had 200 people in.

It would be good to get something sorted on a wider basis in NI when we get back to normality.

Have also used the shutdown to get alot of maintenance done in the club so the place is looking well.

I'd say as an interior and exterior the Carrick club is the best I've seen anywhere in either Scotland or Ulster. The murals are something else

The Rangers clubs are located throughout the province with a number having their own premises for meetings and social gatherings.

there is a largy in co.antrim between portglenone and randelstown but no idea if they have a SC
largy limavady one went by the wayside I think but some of them probably in the limavady and Londonderry blue bears that frequent the crown bar .others may be in dungiven as the burn foot and largy are a stones throw apart .
limavady RSC is a separate body based in the town Rangers social club on main street

There was a club started in South Londonderry 8 or 9 years ago. I remember going to a fund raiser for them.
Think a few of them still travel over but not sure how active the club is or if its affiliated to the federation

your days out lads sounds a great idea and i hope you follow through with them, our clubs and pubs when they manage to reopen will desperately be in need of custom such as yourselves, these same premises as well as missing out on custom since the lockdown procedures ,will also lose out on their biggest couple of days pay days over the 12th period,so i hope you can can get this off the ground ,and wish you every success

Going by that list and the extra ones that has been missed out on it, and also taking away the few that no longer run, id say your talking near 80 or so clubs around the province

Ballywalter Loyal, Co Down

Largy True Blues is listed as both Co Antrim and Co Londonderry. I assume its an error or do they both exist?
Ballynahinch Loyal missing from that list. Also, Annalong club haven't been going for number of years now but think some members went to Kingdom of Mourne, Kilkeel club?
Think there are a few clubs in Bangor & Banbridge as well!

Not a mission are you all starting in Belfast and making it to Limavady

My bet would be Carrick or whitehead at best :D
I’ll be honest, a tad disappointed with the starting point. I know we don’t have a social club as such but Maiden City RSC now run out of the Glendermott House and Claudy RSC operate from the Beaufort Hotel.
It’s a cracking idea though for the bus trip, helps bears network outside of social media-filled sodas to start the day off though!!! :)

If things go to plan and we do get something organised we could do pub crawls of the RSC bars and clubs round the different areas. As was mentioned last night it doesn’t have to be confined to one weekend

It’s a brilliant idea, especially once the restrictions are lifted to give the clubs& pubs a cash boost. We ain’t watching games at Ibrox this year realistically so why not organise a few bus legs of Ulster to tie in with the games on the tele. A few great ideas already mentioned-a Belfast leg on its own. There’s enough around the Antrim coast to justify another. Get the map out Albertz :)

Taken from Rangers Football Club - The Ulster Connection book by Billy Kennedy, published in 2019.

"Northern Ireland has 60 Rangers supporters' clubs and groups, with members who travel regularly to Ibrox Park.

The Rangers clubs are located throughout the province with a number having their own premises for meetings and social gatherings.

A number of the clubs are affiliated to several supporters' federations who coordinate tickets and travel arrangements for games at Ibrox Park.

So the small village of Clough not only has very impressive club premises but is also home to two supporters clubs?? What's the story there?

Not sure what happened but Clough Loyal was started and is a Harryville based club. A few who started it would've been from Clough

I used to be a member before joining the Clough Glasgow Rangers Supporters Club.

All clubs work quite well together in our area

Not sure mate but both clubs are very well ran and have good memberships.

Just then to confuse matters even more there is also a 3rd clough Rangers club but that’s the clough in County Down lol

Is there not a club from Articlave too or would they be part of Castlerock?
Used to watch games in the pub there when we'd be at the Caravan. A carvery and watching Rangers after a night at Kellys/Traks was hard to beat

We do indeed mate. All 4 clubs in the ballymena area always work well and have good relationships with each other and always help with tickets and travel when needed. Way it should be.

As I say I’d always love to get a big Rangers social club open in ballymena. For a town with so many Rangers fans and loyalist bands it’s something we are missing. I know we have clough nearby but it’s a hassle at times getting in and out from the town. Pity we couldn’t move cloughs premises into the middle of Harryville
