Danger Zone
Just the tip...
Don’t think I’ve ever seen a set of fans undervalue their biggest asset the way you see here. It’s almost starting to feel like one or two want him to be sold on the cheap to prove some sort of point.
Unfortunately the way football is now it ain’t really about stepping up or stepping downIf Amiens want 20m for Guirassy then Morelos is worth 25m. 12m offer from Rennes for Guirassy was more than acceptable.
Morelos to Rennes would be a step down imo
That's the media asking price not Rangers€15m, is that our asking price?
6 months ago we would just laugh at that.
I don’t think it’s a question of wanting him gone, for most at least. It’s just that he’s not made much secret of his desire to move on at some point and, if he’s going, we’d rather get a decent return and look to the future.Be careful what you wish for fellow Bears. Do we really want to enter one of the most important seasons in years bedding in a new striker? Especially after our struggles in front of goal in recent years.
I think we should be looking to supplement Alfredo, not get rid of him.
We weren't getting £20m + before a pandemic, you can forget that now.
They had a good season and will be in the Champions League qualifiers. It would still be a surprise to see Alfie moving there, though - I suspect Gerrard may tell him to hold on for a move elsewhere.
Alternatively, €15million would be useful for us rebuilding the squad.

Was just about to post the exact same thing mate.We weren't getting £20m + before a pandemic, you can forget that now.
No chance getting 15 mill for him. Would be nice though
Not now we wont. He is potentially a player worth double that.......or half that. Because the upside is so great and he is at his lowest value we will keep him for another year.No chance getting 15 mill for him. Would be nice though

He will leave in 12 months after a;
Great season = 30m
Average season = 8m
MU mate is the initials he’s very well known and a more than decent bear,in fact I’d say one of the best on here imo.Who said that mate?
You’re right. La Liga in particular is where I’d hope he eventually goes. He’s perfect for Atletico MadridI think Gerrard will be sure to guide him to the EPL or Spain.
France would be a waste of a move.
£8 million ...... Jesus Christ .
Not a chance will we sell at £8 million, no matter how his season went. He's a proven goalscorer at European level so we'd be looking at £15 million at leastNot now we wont. Aw, know who you’re talking about. Yeah, if he’s said it then it can probably be trusted.MU mate is the initials he’s very well known and a more than decent bear,in fact I’d say one of the best on here imo.
If we do sell Alfie,Jones and one other we should still raise at least twenty million quid.
Which in the current climate could stretch quite far you’d like to think.
When you factor in that you’re sharing a board with people who would have happily replaced Morelos with Jason Cummings it lessens the shock of some of the shite you read on here.
On the flip side the fact we managed to renegotiate the Hagi fee from 4.3 million to 3 might be seen as a fair indicator. It’s a very valid point. They’re telling us about the market condition for football clubs now too, despite the fact no monetary transfers have really taken place since covid-19 and no one truly knows the financial position of most clubs. I’m sure that’ll be the same experts who only 2 months ago were telling us we probably wouldn’t see any form of football until 2021.
I’m positive I seen an article saying teams in the top five leagues won’t suffer much when it comes to being able to pay transfer feesIt’s a very valid point. To suggest that Covid won't have a serious negative effect on transfer fees would be extremely naive I'd suggest in the main.
Of course they will, probably over a hundred million on one player-but maybe not the hundreds of millions it might take to buy say,an Mbappe. No ones suggesting that, but it’s not going to hit a lot of clubs anywhere near as hard as it’ll hit others. Watch as the EPL’s top sides carry on throwing silly money around.
Do you have any suggestions mate?yes we do.
the one we have scores goals up until Xmas and then falls apart and has done so for 3 years.
We need to sell him and get a player who can last a whole season and maintain his form.
I get that, but maybe this isn’t the correct time. Especially if we are going to get under market value for him in present circumstances.I don’t think it’s a question of wanting him gone, for most at least. It’s just that he’s not made much secret of his desire to move on at some point and, if he’s going, we’d rather get a decent return and look to the future.

He’d be sitting on the bench at spurs and Leicester though so a move to Rennes would be better for his career.Even if Rennes had that money Alfie has his sights set higher and I am sure he would not leave Rangers for Rennes.. Spurs, Leicester or even a top ten Spanish team would probably suit him but doubt he would go to Rennes.
