Isn't this the problem he had at Anderlecht?
He had issues with the calf at Leeds as well, would go on a great run of form them out for weeks at a time.

Balogun you can sort of live with because he's not been brought in to be a key player. Roofe clearly has. The worries about him you have to say look like coming true especially when it's the calf again. The same was said of Balogun too.
I'm not sure if you want a formal study comissioned....
But its not really that difficult to understand the concept that you are very likely to be in better shape for a Weekend when you havent played on a Thursday isnt it ? Including 3 of them abroad?
If we want Millions in revenue we could try thinking about the Champions League. We'll never qualify for that by being perenial scottish runners up btw, even with 2 places for the league.
Then time to get back up to speed. Won't see the best of him till turn of the year!
Stop talking pish.hes a sick note every club hes been at. he will be out injured more times than he plays for us.
Was for Anderlecht to be fair. Leeds not so much but did have issues.Stop talking pish.

So there was no specific time given?By the way, I'm still wondering where OP got 'a few weeks' from.
We need European football for 2 reasons:
1. Income, it provides us with much needed funds to strengthen the squad
and
2. Get good players to be willing to come to Ibrox
It's always the fucking same on here, as soon as something goes bad people are in favour of ditching European football based on this unsubstantiated idea that we'll then magically do better in the league.

Probably out until Christmas need to get Itten playing as the centre forward with Morelos Hagi and Kent playing behind himOut for a few weeks with a calf problem! Waiting on scan results![]()
Out for a bit could be any length of time with us.Unless something else was said, no.
I only saw Gerrard's post match interview where he said Roofe is sent for a scan and will be out for a bit, no mention of 'a few weeks' at all.
It could of course be the case given that it's not the first time we've heard a player should be fine and is then out for a longer period but I can't see anywhere he said those literal words.
Another... Just a precaution misdiagnosis.Out for a few weeks with a calf problem! Waiting on scan results![]()
One of many idiotic decisions by the managerial teamI got grief on here for suggesting that we play a heavily rotated team against Imps on that surface.
Looking like a ridiculous decision to play Roofe on that surface given his recent injury problems.
Not one of us believed in 2018 we'd be capable of two group stages in succession.
Why are we suddenly so financially dependent on making it 3 in a row?
The Europa league is presented on this forum as some treasure trove of riches and not the paucious poor relative of the CL. It generates income yes, but not of the eye watering variety of the CL. Even less so with no spectators.
would that surprise you either.Isn't this the problem he had at Anderlecht?

Beyond a joke now. It's as if the injury deteriorates as soon as the medical /physio staff start work on them. The constant stringing the fans along with remarks in press conferences regarding players fitness is becoming very tedious.
Shock horror
Something clearly not right with our training when we have so many players picking up muscle injuries in such a short space of time
Something is clearly wrong but then I was shot down in flames for saying as much on the Aribo thread. Is it the training or the medical staff ?
If we don't get European football (at the very least the group stages, I don't care what happens after that) we will not have money needed to mount an actual title challenge in the second half of the season. It's not rocket science.
We all know it's not the same money as in the CL but it's money we desperately need to continue to build up the team and club. Or have you forgotten that we're still partially going thanks to loans from directors ?
He played 110 games in 3 years for Leeds and 40 the season before at Oxford. He does have injury issues but he's nowhere near as bad as made out.
Aye, because Gerrard is a top class medic and deliberately mislead with his comments.Surprise surprise Gerrard talking pish again after the game in Gibraltar.
Nope not at allwould that surprise you either.

He really ought to just send our opposition the team a few days in advance. That'll keep some happy.Of course he is. Gerrard said he’d be fit so we all know by now that when you translate that from scouse into Scottish, that means 3/4 weeks out.
Another blow!!!Out for a few weeks with a calf problem! Waiting on scan results![]()
