I wish Ross every blessing and hope and pray that he makes a full recovery.
That said, it concerns me that professional sportspeople are getting tested virtually across the board, and many “celebs” too - while at the same time it appears front line NHS staff can’t get tested due to lack of kits and resources to do it.
I know personally of an ambulance driver who was rushed back after 6 days of not knowing for certain if he had it or not, because they needed him working. Not only is he driving patients about and having to come into close contact with people, but he’s got weans at home too. Something is prioritised wrong here.
Some may not like what I’ve just said, but that’s the way it is. NHS and front line services staff before “money talks” for me.
