We may see Kamara pushed a bit forward where he plays so well for FinlandThe only positive thing to come out of it is we don't have to see Jack and Kamara playing in the same team.
Arfield also looked good when he came on against Dundee Utd.
Does anyone know how long Aribo is out for?
We'll see in May. If we don't win at least a league and cup double I'll be astounded. We have the best defence midfield and attack in Scotland according to you so why aren’t we winning anything do you think?
Our central midfielders are very different to whatever’s need/utilise.
They offer invaluable cover to Borna and Tav.
I like the idea of one of them breaking lines and adding goals. I also think we should be aware, you are unlikely to get the numbers Borna and Tav produce in assists, from a CM.
If we go all out in there, the licence for the defenders would need to stop.
They are auxiliary defenders, letting Tav and Borna play wide and high.
If we were to have 6 attacking threats, I like it being the 4 forwards, plus the two full backs. It gives us variation, width, pace and guile.
One more would help, occasionally, but it’s working well at present, also.
SG had already said (last post match) that Acquisitions will need to be acceleratedReally need to bring in a CM now.
Which means 2 month.Just seen there , big loss
If it can be proven that Scotland duty attributed to/exacerbated calf problem, then that's 2 strikes....irrespective of player's personal choice, I wouldn't give 'them' a chance of Strike 3!This is a major issue with Jack and one Gerrard alluded to before
His body needs to be managed correctly
Fannying about with Scotland isn’t managing his body correctly.
We really need 2 more CM's.
We need 2 new CM's to challenge for first team. Not a 6th choice. We let a good one go to Aberdeen Jack's injury demonstrates to me yet again how daft it was to let Ross McCrorie leave.
It's a blow but it's not a massive issue to me. I see Glen Kamara as the better player of the two. Appreciate Gerrard seems to favour Jack but I think that is more down to mentality and attitude than actual ability.
Both at their best I would take Kamara definitely. That's why Glen is attracting interest from all over the place.
The midfield has been needing improved for some time. I'm surprised we've not addressed it by now.
It was our main issue last season, and still is. The clock is ticking. The midfield has been needing improved for some time. I'm surprised we've not addressed it by now.
This seems to me to be part of the problem, time to give up the NATSIf it can be proven that Scotland duty attributed to/exacerbated calf problem, then that's 2 strikes....irrespective of player's personal choice, I wouldn't give 'them' a chance of Strike 3!

What Gerrard said was that we don't know if it could be 2, 3 or 4 weeks, although knowing our luck that will mean 8.
Davis and Kamara are good enough.
Davis will be shattered after that run though. Need Arfield firing as cover as well though.
Hopefully intensifies the search for the much talked about Engine room signing.

We are one injury away from a crisis.
Or longer. Once our medical /physio team get working on him you can only fear the worse.January before we see him again then.
Cant see him being fit enough for them on the 17th Oct.
I agree Kamara is, for me, the more talented footballer. Jack does know how to mix it better though. It's a blow but it's not a massive issue to me. I see Glen Kamara as the better player of the two. With the form shown by Arfield on Saturday and with Davis and Kamara we seem to have much better cover than has previously been the case.
I suspect it is going to be a tough decision for the Board in terms of bringing someone in.
There does not seem to be much progress on Alfredo moving.
If we get put out of Europe by Willem II (or God forbid Red Imps) our squad is going to look heavy in numbers for the domestic challenge.
Some nervous days ahead.....
Both would be big losses, depending on signings. It's part of the package with Jack. His injury history is quite extensive. Mostly niggles.
Hope we are not without both him and Aribo for the Tims.
