Salzburg star 'struck by missile' at Celtic Park during Europa League clash

A member of the Celtic board is a BT Executive is he not? That tells you why BT never do anything to show them in a bad light.

Pretty sure there was fans in the park at the end too. One of them wearing a white cap seemed to shout into the camera before BT cut away sharply.

This could be the records headline
A Salzburg player said last nights atmosphere was the best he has played in
Especially when the greatest fans in the world threw money at him to show appreciation.

The commentator Hamilton did put the boot in a little on the single replay BT showed whilst Sutton didn't utter a word about it. Not one syllable. Couldn't shut the prick up though when Rosenborg scored. Appallingly unprofessional and not fit for purpose.

This is celtic we're talking about here.
A club who should already be subject to the most thorough investigation.
A club who should be on the verge of the strictest punishment.

This is the republic of Scotland however and they are being protected.

BT never said much during the game.

I switched off once Rosenborg scored to avoid seeing the scum celebrate

Did BT show any footage after the game ?

Have a word with your self ffs, your casting aspersions on the worlds most self acclaimed supporters who have been the front runners in everything from watering peoples plants and gardens before they attend games up and down the country to lifting charity tins from shops to save the charities the hassle of collecting them.
It was a sarcastic comment as did they not win some pish after recieving fine after fine a few years back?

They wouldn't identify the coward bastard who threw a glass bottle in the face of a young bear at Hampden. Do not expect anyone to be identified by their own support for this. Total scum bags.

We've had newspaper articles on rolled up paper from card displays being described as " missiles" thrown at Ibrox. The mhedia sicken me in this country.

COIN SHAME
Celtic vs Salzburg – Hoops face fine after Andre Ramalho struck on head by missile thrown from home support during Europa League clash

The defender was seen holding his head following Dabbur's opening goal for the Austrian side but was able to continue playing for the rest of their 2-1 victory
CELTIC are facing another Uefa fine after Red Bull Salzburg star Andre Ramalho was struck by a missile as he celebrated his team's opening goal.

The Hoops sneaked into the Europa League last 32 on an incredible night of drama despite losing 2-1 to the Austrians courtesy of Rosenborg holding Leipzig to a 1-1 draw in Germany.
But the yobbish behaviour of one fan cast a shadow over the achievement.

The Hoops looked to be going out of Europe when Munas Dabbur scored Salzburg's first goal of the night.

As the Red Bull players celebrated the goal Ramalho suddenly clutched his head and went down after an object, which looked to be a coin, was seen striking him.

Match referee Ruddy Buquet was on the scene so looks sure to include the incident in his report.
A Uefa charge would be the latest in a long line of punishments from the governing body.

In October 2017 the Hoops got a £9,000 fine over yob John Hatton’s Parkhead pitch invasion and attack on PSG’s Kylian Mbappe.

In July 2017 Celtic were hit with a ÂŁ20,500 fine over a pro-IRA banner waved by Green Brigade fans and blocked stairways in the Champions League qualifier against Linfield.

Hoops chiefs banned the supporters' group for two games as a result.

The bad behaviour by Celtic fans has cost the club ÂŁ149,000 in penalties in recent years.
Celtic's charge sheet
November 2011: The club was hit by a ÂŁ12,600 fine after "illicit chanting" in a Europa League clash with French side Rennes.

December 2011: Supporters unfurled a banner slating Uefa when the Hoops played Italian outfit Udinese, resulting in a ÂŁ21,000 fine.

Flares were let off and one is launched on to the pitch. A Hoops fan was also banned for life when he was arrested in Italy for the alleged assault of a steward.

July 2013: The club was fined ÂŁ4,200 when a firework was set off in the away end against Cliftonville in Northern Ireland.
November 2013: The Green Brigade revealed a Bobby Sands banner comparing him with William Wallace during a clash with AC Milan, prompting a ÂŁ42,000 fine.

July 2014: Celtic were hit with a ÂŁ16,000 charge after fans displayed a Palestinian flag in the Champions League qualifier with KR Reykjavik.

December 2014: The club took a ÂŁ7,300 hit after fireworks were set off in the stands during a game against Dinamo Zagreb in Croatia. Fans also clashed with police.

February 2015: Uefa slapped the club with a ÂŁ3,600 fine after two flares were set off in the San Siro during a clash with Inter Milan.
December 2015: Celtic were handed another pyro fine, this time ÂŁ11,600 after an incident at a tie with Turkish side Fenerbahce.

August 2016: The club was fined ÂŁ8,615 over fans' support of Palestine when they faced Israel's Hapoel Beer Sheva.

They went on to raise more than ÂŁ170,000 for Palestinian charities in response to the charges.

December 2016: Beaks hit the club with a ÂŁ16,000 fine after fireworks were set off and fans scuffled in the stands in the Manchester City clash at the Etihad.

probably get a ÂŁ5 fine for it from their big buddies UEFA

especially if they only get ÂŁ9k fines for somebody attempting to attack a player on the pitch with the Mbappe example

Small fine which will mean nothing given they will make at least a couple of million for going through.
UEFA really must get real and close that shithole given the scums accumulated charge sheet.
