Nice to read about Tommy Leishman, who was a hero of mine when I was a kid watching Linfield.
A pity the writer got it wrong about getting to the European Cup quarter finals. The teams they beat were Aris of Luxembourg (beat them 6-0 or 6-1 at Windsor) and Valerengen of Norway (beat them 4-1 away). They were also the better team against CSKA Sofia but goalkeeping mistakes cost the Blues big time.
The standard that year was pretty shite as was proved by the eventual winners.
