Scottish Cup - Round Three fixtures - Score updates & games you've attended

A wee bump.

I (nearly) always separate the Scottish Cup from the Saturday's Games thread.

Not because it's our national competition. It's more to do with the bizarre team names, my love for cup shocks, and the unmissable chance to aim abuse at East Kilbride, Buckie Thistle, Alloa, and any other mob worthy of my over-the-top psychotic disgust reactions.

So far...

Edinburgh 0-1 Dunfermline
Forfar 0-1 Stirling Albion
Musselburgh 1-0 Bo'ness Utd
Peterhead 0-2 Montrose
Queen's Park 0-1 Partick Thistle

No shocks, Sherlock.

The women's schedule was already known so if Scotland made it through then BBC Scotland channel it was on so their Scottish Cup pick couldn't be the same night as that also on BBC Scotland channel hence Monday
True, but I've never met any football fan who thinks women's football is worth watching.

If people weren't scared of wanker-words like "sexist" or "misogynist", people would be on the net ripping the piss out of the female effort. Women's football is being forced upon us, and no-one can be honest about it without being chased by utter wankers.

The Scottish Cup is our oldest competition, and it's real football. It should always be prioritised ahead of a clown show.

I expect some people will object, but I don't give a f*ck what anyone thinks. That's why I'm honest about it.

Just pointing out the reason behind it

Fraserburgh 2-0 Annan Athletic

Heading for shock of the day. Annan currently looking safe in League 1. They are 8th in the table, but they've got a big lead over the bottom two.

Sides knocking out higher level opposition in bold

Granted, they're both in the same division, but Forfar are the rock bottom senior side in Scotland and Stirling Albion are in the play-off places.

Might not look like a big shock on paper, but anyone with even a slight interest in the lower leagues will regard Forfar's success today as a massively unlikely coupon-buster.

Took in Linlithgow Rose V Raith Rovers.

Not much of a game 1st 45, 2nd RR turned the screw and had a fairly comfortable day.

Great to be on terracing and must say a very friendly club to visit.

Hopefully you get a glamour tie mate. You deserve it. A chance to make some money.
The team have done so well to get into the fourth round. Delighted for everyone involved in running the club as well.

They missed out on a trip to Parkhead last season. The team are being driven on by the memory of that controversial loss to Buckie so it would be good to see them rewarded with a match at Ibrox, or a local tie at Tynecastle or Easter Road.

Junior cup Easterhouse v kilbirnie
Easterhouse unlucky but done well beaten by better team in end.
Exp3cted a better ground but obviously they days are gone.
Public park ruins occasion.

I’ve not seen the badgers in years to be fair. I used to go down every other Saturday to Albyn Park with my grandad when I was a wain. Always had a soft spot for them since then.

My mates dad does some physio with them, Bud Porteous.

Good luck to them.

Attended the Musselburgh game on Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Hoping they get a money spinning tie in the next round, will tune in tonight.
