He’s also looked fairly ordinary for the most part whenever we play them. There’s no real getting around the fact he’s missed a good few chances against them, a couple of sitters among them.

People - including some of our own fans - never fully rated Boyd for the same reasons. Goals against them carry a lot of weight, like it or not.
