Prob already been discussed but been on a complete football holiday but looking for bears views that this could be the end like amateur football in Scotland outside a select few
Teams were already close before this outbreak and the prospect of no fans for a year I feel there is no way back for the Elgin Cowdenbeath Falkirk and teams of similar circumstances what’s some bears views
By the way after 2012 I have genuinelly prayed to god allah Jehovah gishna and any other for this day to happen just so wish we had joined the English pyramid system and left them to die a slow death after 2012

Elgin and cowdenbeath will be fine they are part-time and as of now have no players so no wages to pay and they will just mothball till football is played again in front of punters.falkirk on the other hand are full time.to survive they may well have to go part-time.

Unpunctuated drivel. Wishing for Scottish football to be even worse? That'll show them all.

Bit ambivalent about this situation actually feel a tiny but sorry for clubs like Partick thistle and Falkirk who have been royally shafted by the SPFL just so the nonce could be given a title.

On the other hand though these teams voted to basically kill the SFL which would have probably be void with no promotion or relegation in a similar situation.

The smaller clubs also had the chance to completely change the voting structure when Rangers were down the leagues but didn't take it either.

Hearts themselves were also quite happy to be part of the pro Celtic-cabal as long as it didn't harm them and hurt Rangers well now Lawwell is about to stab them in the back and maybe end them as a club.

Killing the SFL and no change in the voting structure added with Covid-19 is the perfect storm that will pretty much destroy Scottish football.

When is it going to sink in it’s not the small part-time clubs that are at risk here, they will survive its the full time clubs all the way up to the the bottom six in the premiership.its not inconceivable we will be back in the same scenario as the 70’s where half of the top league is made up of part time teams.

It won't sink in to a host of people who can't see further than the end of their nose it seems.

IF 'bigger' clubs fall into the abyss and we are at a level of the 70's then Scottish football will be even worse than it is now and will include us.

Don’t be worrying we have the pipe dream of English football riding to rescue us from the fate of playing arbroath, east fife etc in the premiership.

100% correct all this cack about hoping all these teams go bust we rant on about for years will benefit us in no way whatsoever infact as you rightly say it will have a further negative impact.

I get why people have a sour taste left in their mouth. The majority of other clubs hate us but a number of the clubs going under or dropping to part time does nothing for Rangers going forward.

The question is do you hate other clubs more than you love your own?

It isnt going to sink in because FF is an angry echo chamber where posters seem to want to compete with each other as to who can fantasise the worst for the game up here. If Scottish football is the league that hated itself to death then right now this place is doing it's fair share to add to that.
