Scottish media slaughtering Alloa FC

An unpopular opinion maybe but the way clear reds are constantly given as yellows up here is embarrassing. It doesn't matter if it's us or them either, this happens in games across the country. We need to protect ball players or they will stop coming or be forced out the game. The press love wee teams getting in the faces of big teams, roughing them up etc. The refs like to even the playing field by keeping their cards in their pocket for the first 20 mins and all manner of tackles are allowed. "it's too early for a card" Nonsense. Then they produce yellows for dangerous tackles and also for preventing a fk, accidental handball or tugging a jersey. The system is fucked. I also have to say that the idea that a player causes himself to be injured by pulling out a tackle he isn't going to win is ridiculous and sounds like something a mental youth coach might have told kids on public parks 30 years ago. What caused that injury to the Japanese guy was the boot of the other player going through his ankle with full force and no amount of him speeding up would have changed him being second favourite for it and coming off worst. It's reckless and is likely a red in every country in the world except ours. Is it funny cos it's one of their players? At first aye, but at the end of the day, do we want to be entertained or just see cloggers kicking people out the game? All players should expect refs to protect them but ours don't seem interested. Rant over.

Mate, the wee coward shat it. Watch it again, for the previous 5 seconds he was running about like a five year old chasing a pigeon in the park before he stopped suddenly when the Alloa guy came into view.

He shat it!

After what we have been through, all I care about is Rangers winning. I don’t give a shit how it happens or what circumstances contribute to it. I despise these cheating bastards and it’s only about Rangers winning.

All we are saying is give paragraphs a chance.

Young Nathan Oduwa played a midweek cup game for us at Ibrox against Livingston and within minutes of KO he was subjected to a brutal challenge from no-mark Kieran Gibbons who was obviously under instruction to "do" Oduwa. Livi manager at the time, ex-bheast player Mark Burchill, more or less stated that Oduwa deserved it for showing off!!!
Far from any outcry about the dangerous tackle there was also no criticism of
Burchill virtually condoning it
I can't recall a single mhedia clown ever condemning the tackle or the manager's post match comments.
