Correct. So many times we see folk saying "we should have kept him", we offered a year extension he wanted 2, he was told only 1 is the offer and he chose to go elsewhere.

Would have loved to have him last year, sadly we didnt. Best of luck wherever he goes next, cracking guy.

It was probably the right time to let arfield go as long as we replaced him properly. We bought Lammers though meaning we really missed him.

It probably was the right time but we didn’t replace his late runs into the box and goal threat - I think we missed what he brought to the team.

Whether he would still have been able to bring that to the team is another question but we lost a different attacking option when he left and we didn’t replace it.
