Season Ticket Waiting List Question

My boy turned 18 and isn't coming back next season. Will therefore give the ticket to a mate. I think it's best to avoid an official seat transfer in order to retain the mygers points and benefits. Just means I'm het for payment and then my mate pays me.

Just joined mygers and wondering how long it would take to get an email about being offered a season ticket?

Need to go to every game i can but how do it put my points online to prove I've been?

Season tickets are offered at the end of each season around June/July. Points start when you sign up and any other game you have had a ticket for via other means aren't relevant.
I've been on the list for almost 2 years now.
Points were around 400 for those who got an offer for this season

400 points… I’ll be waiting a while for mine then. Just signed up at the start of Sept.

Anyone well versed in MyGers know the best way to get points other than going to matches which I’m already doing?

It’s not just from when you sign up. Any points accrued previously will also be activated so it depends what you have bought in the past 5 years

This is why folk find it hard to get tickets.

I would probably do the same though.

It's the same when old folk do, do their tickets get given up

My mate died at 41. His brother kept his ticket....

Joined MYGERS. How long will it take until I find out how many points I have?
You can find out how many you have up to the July update by logging in to your account and click where it says hi and your name. The next update is due this month sometime

Thanks mate. That's the loyalty points?

And how many do you get per home game you attend?

Yes, season ticket holders get 5 points for attending but non season ticket holders get 5 points for buying a home ticket
What do season ticket holders get if they seatsub. No points.

May as well give the ticket to a friend

Loads selling their ST's the past few weeks, they have probably changed their minds now though.....
Same with all fair weather fans mate.

I’ve stated before on here of the slagging I took off guys for going to watch us in the lower divisions who during our European run to Seville were shitting themselves to get tickets, and also shite themselves to get tickets for hampden

Sometimes I’d prefer Ibrox to stay the size it is and reward the actual genuine fans who stay through thick and thin

Is it just me or are there a lot more ST's up for sale this year than in years previous?

Not always true. I decided not to fly over for Hearts game at end of last season despite having flights and ticket bought (honest change of circumstances).

I was not awarded the 5 points as I did not scan my ticket in, don't think that is how it worked for previous games but for this one they decided on this for whatever reason.

I didn't attend so its fair enough, just found the inconsistency strange so I queried it and that was the explanation I got.

I was only on it a year, but I got mine the covid year so not sure if that plays a part. It's got sod all to do with who you know as I dont know any one.

I would however sign up for my gers and rangers tv if you haven't already builds the staunch points and can move things along. I subscribed to both before I got my season ticket.

You’ll only get points from tickets you buy direct from the website, you can’t put points online for saying you’ve been like you’ve asked.
If you get a ticket from anywhere but official channels you don’t get any points.

I've never heard of that before either. They've done it for some women's games and possibly b team at Ibrox but never heard of it for first team games.

You need to scan in and actually attend and then the points tot us automatically.

Well they did it to me, fair but inconsistent with what they used to do. Don't know if it still applies this season.

Have you been buying any of the add ons ? Women’s season ticket programmes etc ? Going to games where there is tickets available to climb the points ladder ?
No. I don't really want to do that as money is tight as it is - I got to every game I can though. I'm on about 600 and something points as of the last update so probably got a bit to go yet.

It’s all about spending power now that’s the way they have designed my gers. Feel sorry for someone who is looking to start out now as they will take a long time to even get a season ticket. But there is opportunities to build points if people are willing to put their hand in their pocket. Rtv women’s season tickets and purchasing tickets through your rangers number will help climb the ladder.
