If this is true then it really is time for the club to call for a summit for Scottish football to sort itself out, for the rhetoric to end and for the policing authorities to crack down on what is becoming lawlessness.
I agree, every club has to get together and sort this out one way or another, these things just escalate when the people involved get braver knowing nothing will happen or they won’t get called out.

The club made a mistake in trying to brand the attacks on Alfie as just general racism and not pointing out the uniquely Anti Rangers/sectarian angle of it all.

We want to highlight and question why is the climate allowing people to use the "Hun" "Dob" freely and blame us for society and football's ills. A generic racism debate doesn't do anything to protect all of our fans and all of our players.

A generic racism debate is easier for the club because it's politically correct for the club. They don't wanna go there on bigotry but that's cowardly and it doesn't address why Aberdeen fans think it's ok to attack Ryan jack in a Casino or why Traynor attacked in the street. It doesn't get to the route causes or take on our enemies

Call out Anti Rangers/Anti protestant sectarianism. Call it what it is. and not hide behind the foreign players' thing.

The club simply have to demand a summit and deal with all the abuse the club is getting there was a summit about referees this time last year which is much less serious than someone getting assaulted for doing their job

If this is true I have to say far more savvy posters than me have been warning of a member of our club being attcked physically due to the venomous half truths and lies spouted by the likes of Stewart, Sutton, Keevins, English, Spence, Provan etc etc.

I sincerely hope Traynor is ok and that this now becomes a watershed moment.

Time for the board of directors to come out fighting.

Unfortunately Scottish football is just a big gang and we are not part of it.

Why has Traynor suddenly became their main target in the last few weeks. It was almost as if the word went out. Surely it is within the his remit to issue PR on behalf of the club so why has this become such an issue.
Deflection away from the real issue and that was Alfie's racist abuse at Parkhead. Attack Traynor and the writing of the statement rather than address the content. Unfortunately we had a few of our own follow that narrative.

Because they wouldn't accept that they are a racist support so made up some conspiracy theory with traynor at the head of it.

They've got Traynor masterminding everything from Watergate to 9/11 to distorting audio to make it look as if Morelos was racially abused at the Piggery.
