The yahoos have carte blanche to do as they please and anyone challenging them is decried as a sectarian bigot
That there is the problem. Politicians in edinburgh are scared to speak out about it, because the Nats and their lackys in the media will accuse them of stoking up religious divide. Someone needs to stand up in that place and call them out for the dubious company their keeping. Company that I've seen a lot of irish people saying this week how ashamed and appalled they are at how well they done in the election.

When, as was written about making the people walk by the bodies of their victims, maybe a delegation our so called govt can take that walk with them.

Hope the police are making good progress in their investigation.
I'd think this assault is pre planned. Which, if so, is horrific. It means his attacker, or attackers, tracked his routines, and determined the best opportunity to beat him up. I'm sure Jim is no pushover, but he is in his late 50's early 60's. Way past his prime. I hope this experience doesn't have a lasting affect on him.
Unless...maybe it was Michael Stewart! The BBC extended Stewart's ban apparently.

Nearly.

The Nats will not call out anything even loosely linked to the Catholic Church.

They spent so long courting the Catholic Church, they spent so long courting the Republican element of the Catholics that they know they need to stay in line otherwise the Catholic church will tell its followers to vote elsewhere and they will be out on there arse at the next election.

Salmond, and now Sturgeon, have got themselves so far into bed with them that they will not even mention any child abuse that happens within the church or Celtic, They will not call out any anti protestant bigotry, this is all down to the church having an unhealthy and wrong hold over the SNP, they are basically the leverage of them having power and not having it.

if the Catholic church are not happy with a story or something happening (and the press office is very very close to Celtic) then they are on the direct line to the SNP head honchos.

The catholic church recently sent a threat to the SNP by saying they will officially start letting Priests tell there flock who to vote for in response to the recent gender debate.

That is at the top of the tree, further down the they are infested with bigots, catholic bigots and republican bigots.

The country is close to the point of no return and that is no exaggeration.

Our board are pissing in the wind, although they are and have been behaving like cowards while that lot are allowed to behave with impunity.

If Traynor can't handle a wee sectarian assault he is in the wrong city.

It is statements like the one Provan made about Alfredo that throws petrol on the flames of hatred. Provan and his ilk need to be taken to account for their statements verbal or written.
The views these people project to the public is certainly not helping to improve anything in Scotland and from any normal persons perspective they are by their actions in present times, destructive, racist and archaic.

Why you think pre-planned Mart ?

I'm afraid you're right with this.

I know him from working with him previously.

Very nice guy, clever and a bluenose but not the pitbull type we need right now.

WATP
Surely if he is clever that is a major asset , I’m not at all aware of the scenarios at play but could imagine they are Fukiiin caustic hate and total control of sfa / spl by The Filth .

‘that is a tough nut to crack , these bastards were brought up on hate and intimidation and will stop at nothing they are so brazen .

it’s a tough one not at all easy.

but brains and craft are vital because at some points they will slip up and we need to right answers at the right time

It's going to take a Rangers player or official getting seriously injured before anything is done to tackle the uncontrolled and venomous hatred towards our club.

And even then there will be some politicians and journalists who will find a way to blame us.

open season on our club, hostile enviroment created by the division in this country, from the government at holyrood to councils.

This started with Michael Stewart’s rant on Sportsound. This is the responsibility of him and BBC Scotland. They still haven’t made it clear whether he’ll be back on their programmes or not but if they do allow him back then they are condoning this attack which was a direct result of the lies he came out with over the Morelos interview.

That’s before we even get started with him casting as much doubt as he could on the racist abuse of Morelos. A dangerous, bitter, twisted individual.

It's a guess based on the tweet reporting a sectarian assault. JT is very unlikely to be in the kind of places where the type of people who carry out sectarian assaults, given the opportunity, hang out. That type of scum would have to go looking for him.

Why was it not reported in mainstream media ? Anything that is bad for our club is splattered everywhere and continually run over and over again so why not this about our contracted PR guy.

With the war against our club and the rising political tensions in the country I can see a form of civil war in Scotland in the next few years sad indictment of where we are in the all inclusive country we live in
I've been saying this to friends since the referendum in 2014.

Traynor is being targeted because the scum that follow the tarriers are now out of control and they see him as part of the Rangers family. I have no time for the man personally and his link with Rangers is, I believe, purely a financial arrangement as the club contract him for PR work. Memories of him calling me and my mates "Neanderthalls" in the Record because we gave him a bit of banter in Turin still rankles.

If this is true I have to say far more savvy posters than me have been warning of a member of our club being attcked physically due to the venomous half truths and lies spouted by the likes of Stewart, Sutton, Keevins, English, Spence, Provan etc etc.

I sincerely hope Traynor is ok and that this now becomes a watershed moment.

Time for the board of directors to come out fighting.

WATP
It was only a matter of time. The media are to blame.
