Si Ferry meets Richard Gough

When Gough left at end of 9 in a row who took over the captaincy until he returned in the October ? Was it meant to be Amoruso but he got injured then eventually got it the following season ?

Genuienly dont get the hate for si ferry on here

Been much since you joined 2 month ago ?

The 2 hours is tremendous

But it all relies on the person telling the story and how much they want to commit to it

Richard was very open. Brilliant listen.

Ferry has clearly done a few of these now and isnt winging it any more, fair enough.

Been on here 15 years mate haha

Surprised that Gough thought the 88/89 team and the Gazza and Laudrup team were better than the team which went close in the CL.
That team of 92/93 is probably the best team in my lifetime, although Advocaat’s team with Mols pre injury were a different level in terms of the football they played.

Good stories about his early career, and the Jim McLean and Ken Bates phone calls were funny. The Gascoigne stories were also very good and funny.

Gough was very good, and another from that era of Rangers players you’d ever tire of listening to.

I thought it was a great interview and gave another side to the Captain that we didn't get on his excellent H&H appearance.

Watched the first 30 mins and will see to the rest later. Great material.

David Holmes telling the Magnificent Bastard to leave the room when Gough was renegotiating his salary/signing on fee was interesting. Shows how much Holmes was held in respect that he could say that to Souness and not get him coming at him.
