Agree with that. Bit of a headache Clement has got but I trust he will do the right thing.Everything you say is true but, my question is more down to the best replacement.
Would you rather have Matondo starting or substitute?
He did well against Hibs but I’m not sure I’d trust him as a starter against them.
He could easily be as effective a sub as Sima.
I know Silva has played wide left but was ineffective against Hibs and again, it’s a trust issue.
Sunday is the most important game of the season for us so I’d be playing our best players first.
You’re right. If we are behind we of course would benefit from faster attackers coming on the pitch especially when they are usually vulnerable at full back. Matondo and Sima would give us they options.
We could be behind with Sima on the pitch the first 60, then what do we do?
Start your strongest team. Manage it from there.
If your fit enough to be on the bench your fit enough to play a chunk of the game.
Except the Manager said at the weekend he had players on the bench who were only good for 20-30 minutes. I reckon Sima is only good for 30 minutes, so expect to see him on the bench. And Matondo and McAusland will probably be sitting alongside him.Start your strongest team. Manage it from there.

LastIf Sima only has an hour in the legs, do you start him and give him longer to impact the game or do you keep him for the last 30 mins when the game is more stretched, players are tired and potentially more space for him to run at their defense?
I think Sima is better suited to a late appearance in this match.Start
Get ahead as early as we can and set the tone for this game.
No regrets, no chasing it second half, ffs learn from our mistakes.
Yeah I'd say of our current front options Sima is the most instinctive finisher we have available to us. For that reason I'd like to see him test them as early as possible.I think Sima is better suited to a late appearance in this match.
I think the idea in your post is spot-on though. I’m a bit tired of watching a Rangers side stare at Celtic going ahead during the first half in these matches and then having a goal to equalise before you get to taking the lead ourselves.
We really need to get on it from that start on Sunday and give Celtic challenge after challenge to meet.
I quite like Matondo, however he struggles to be what we want him to be a lot of the time.Yeah I'd say of our current front options Sima is the most instinctive finisher we have available to us. For that reason I'd like to see him test them as early as possible.
Ideally we go ahead for a change and have them chasing the game. I think wee Matondo although I'm not his biggest fan, proved last week with his pace he can cause a tiring defence big problems.
If those were the options, given everything I'd look to bring him off the bench. It's a good way to re-energise the crowd and the team.
I know it was a hypothetical, so this is largely an aside, but I suspect it'll be closer to the 70 minute mark we see him coming off the bench.
I agree, and rightly so, I would start with Silva and Sterling wide.Except the Manager said at the weekend he had players on the bench who were only good for 20-30 minutes.
