Son Heung-Min

They are categorically not one of the great European clubs by any and every measure.

First British club to win a European tournament, they've won a further two European trophies and they've appeared in a Champions League Final, so their pedigree in Europe is unquestionable imo. Tottenham, along with Arsenal and Chelsea are famous names throughout world football. If you don't think that places them among the great clubs of European football then we'll need to agree to differ.

Maybe London and Spurs suits him. If they keep Conte, him and Kane then with some additions, they could easily win silverware in the next year or two.

Agreed he is a very good player though who could play in any team and not look out of place.

Last league title was closer to the Victorian era than the current year.

No one on this forum agrees with you.

They've done very little of note recently.

Forest nor Villa would not be called one of Europe's great clubs in 2022 either.

Bully for you if Spurs are your English team though.

I agree with him.

Spurs have certainly underperformed domestically for decades - in a highly competitive league - but that doesn’t negate what he said. Villa and Forest might have won the biggest prize, but they’ve nowhere near the prestige, wealth and following of Spurs.

Tottenham Hotspur are one of the great European clubs. Unlike a whole host of the so called "biggest clubs" they don't have a mega rich 'sugar daddy' but make no mistake, Spurs are a huge club by any standards.
The majority owner of spurs is Joe Lewis the investor with a net worth in excess of £4 billion.
