SPFL Highlights Deal - Couple Of Questions

When does it run until?

Do Highlights have to go to terrestrial?

Should our club be in contact with other broadcasters and clubs about shutting BBC out?

For me, long term this might be the way to go however not sure of the first two questions - if it has to go terrestrial then it is essentially STV vs BBC if not then it opens it up to BT and Premier Sports.

The Nuclear option and again I am not sure of the legality, is Rangers refuse to accept BBC as provider next contract around and refuse cameras, use of badge, use of pictures, use of anything Rangers related.

Any of this an option?

It's a collective deal so needs to be a majority vote to decide a broadcaster deal. We could vote against any BBC involvement but the other 11 could go for it and we'd be forced under SPFL rules to go with it. Basically we have to provide access for the organisation so they can cover the games and conduct interviews.

BBC's choice of course is to not attend our games because of their silly little "solidarity" game they want to play.

We aren't breaking the rules. They aren't providing their service per their contract, ergo they are breaking the rules.
