For all this talk about Brown being shite - is there anyone who plays in Scotland who is better at what he does? Do European performances count at all for this award? If he's so shite, how much shiter are our players, who have lost out in every 50-50, tackle and header against him in every Old Firm game since our promotion, only two of which we've taken any points and all of which he was captain?

He is one game away from captaining his side to a double treble, yet the prevailing attitude on here that Brown is pish is way wide of the mark. I hate him as much as the next man but give him his due: he's miles better than anyone else at any other club.
