Sportscene gushing over Defoe's 300th club goal

So they should if it wasn't for roofes goal it would be the goal of the season so far. Arguement that its still better actually due to the pass technique and it being on hos weak foot.

It's simple enough - One is the best goal in Europe, the other is the best goal scored in Scotland (unless you are Keevins and think that Griffiths goal was better than JD's)

They will jump the paedo harbouring ship and try to nuzzle back in with us - they should all be told to f*** right off. How good will 55 be when we win in it and the scum journalists and pundits aren't part of it? The key thing to remember is they brought this vendetta upon themselves/

RTV and Fan Media are the way forward for our progressive Club, look at Galatasary with Walter and Souness and McCann. Our own media is levels above amateur hour fuds like Craigan, Stewart, and Thompson.

Many have said it, but when we start backing up performances with results and the other lot fall on hard times, the fickle media tide will turn.

Issues within the media lie a lot deeper, but it will make a difference

Steven Thompson's doing a good job. He's shifted the balance away from the mentally challengeds.

There really does seem to be a turn in thought in the media up here, even Sportscene are praising us now.

No, on Clyde they choose their goal of the weekend. Don’t think they ever choose the same one. Rae chose JD and Kheevins went for thumb as he knew AR’s choice.

It's funny how many people rage about Keevins, only for it to turn out that he didn't actually say it.

Had Tav beaten 4 men before delivering the ball it might have stood up there for comparison with Roofe's goal, but he didnt. Also Roofe did it all by himself. Questions might be asked too as to the quality of the Livi defence. As good as Defoe's goal was its just not in the same class as Roofe's stunning effort against a much better team.

Tims will still be tims, and nats will still be wanks. So don’t expect everyone to change :)

We have been an easy target and, to be honest, its been so straightforward for the media to take the piss out of us over the years. The stories have written themselves at times.

So long as we keep winning then I believe we will see the tide turn, as you rightly say - it will be magnified if the mentally challengeds capitulate at the same time.

scottish press tactics are to kick em when they're down

Think both are outstanding goals. Absolutely outstanding goals. But very different goals. One isn’t better than the other both highlight the quality of player we have at the club.

Sportscenes interview with JD must have been good then. Oh, wait a minute........

I wonder if any pressure is coming from BBC UK due to the non existence of any interviews with a certain world famous and iconic former England player and now Rangers manager... a few gushing Sportscenes and then bbc scotland claim its nothing to do with them as it is Rangers refusing to speak to them.....

2 great goals but Roofe's is much, much better.
Not even close.
