My point was that you can’t say you want to make a point and then say you have to ignore certain games to prove your point. Qualifying for the group stages was an immense achievement

It was indeed, but I personally take very little from games against teams who are that bad.

Our early European games and friendly results put mental expectations on a lot of people. They had the league won before a ball was kicked.
