@saintmirrenfc v @acciesfc has been postponed after St. Mirren informed the SPFL they could not fulfil the fixture.

I don’t think they can just keep on cancelling games . At some point forfeits have to be implemented.

They don't have a clue what to do given the questions they sent all clubs today. Its an utter embarrassment

1. Clubs recently rejected a resolution that would have given the SPFL broad powers to manage Covid related disruption to the League programme this season. Would you now support such a resolution if it were brought back to clubs?

2. Would you give the SPFL board the Power to award 0-3 result against any team unable to play a fixture due to Covid?

3. Is it too early to take binding decisions on Covid?

4. How many fixtures do you believe need to be completed for a season to be "valid"?

5. Would you give the SPFL board the power to call the season?

6. Would you give the SPFL board the power to void the season?

Jesus Christ that’s frighteningly amateurish.

Looks to me like they are already Wanting powers to void it if we are in the lead when things get really bad . Quelle surprise .

Safe to say st mirrenn wont be playing for a while

UPDATE: The entire St Mirren first-team squad and coaching staff have been told to self-isolate by Public Health Scotland.

Tony Fitzpatrick: "This continues to be a challenging time for the club but the health and wellbeing of our players and staff remains our utmost concern"

Give them the power so they can decide between the two depending on who is at the top. Shower of corrupt wankers.

Surely they’re not the actual questions

If so, why is option 6 all of a sudden even a consideration? Last season we were told it was off the table, tv money etc would need paid back

St Mirren seem hell-bent on getting the season cancelled. I expect Fitzpatrick to come out stinking of booze and pish, with his flies undone, socks at ankles and demand a null and void league.
No, he will release an articulate and informative statement written all by himself.

Question 6 ? The fuckers want the right to VOID the season ?

Yet that wasn’t possible last season ?

%^*& right off.

Looking at it again, this will be postponed and replayed in the New Year.

The season isn't in any danger. There are loads of dates available for rescheduling.

2 is really the only option needed.

In relation to the question for calling the season, a full found of fixtures at a push two, playing each home and away. That is achievable.

Correct. And Winnie the witch will call a halt at the snap of her fingers. She`ll get pissed off and end it.
That will be the forfeit.

And she won`t care who`s top of the league.

Wtf is going on with St Mirren?
Levein said on Sportsound the other night that hes been told from players he knows that several Premiership teams arent following COVID rules at training, around the club etc. I am going to hazard a guess St Mirren are one with the amount of issues they have had.

Has to be something going on with the amount of unrelated cases going on. Every week.

St Mirrens youth team has apparently been very lax with the Covid rules and now they are being tested are the source of some of the recent positives. The entire youth team having to isolate stops any attempt whatsover to play games as it would have to literally be kids.

Allegedly also a number of issues at first team level, including the lack of a proper appointment of a club covid officer. Shitshow across the board at the club.

So last season void wasn't an option but this season it 'might' be. Mmmm?

Bin the Scottish cup & League cup if necessary.
The league, Sky cash & European access must take priority.
There's no need to do that. There are loads of dates available.

SFA have to keep the CL/EL midweeks free when they schedule originally, but they're allowed to use them for postponed games. So St Mirren could play their games for example on the date of a CL last 16 tie.

Where's the impact statement regarding Sky?

Surely the SPFL have to be looking into St Mirrens practices and investigating, this isn’t a few separate isolated instances now

it’s going on multiple weeks

Insurance premiums that cover the possibility of curtailment of this season because of Covid would be through the roof.....that is if you'd actually find any Insurance Co. wanting to proved cover at all.
I mean that St Mirren trying to get the season cancelled is the poets insurance if we start to build a lead in the league.
