Youve answered your own question, youre not sure he could do it at a higher level. So you don't think he has done well?
Whether he can do it at a higher level I am not sure but I wouldn't want to take the risk that he could succeed at Celtic.
He has done enough with a bunch of pretty average players for me to be worried that he could be a big success at Celtic so for me, I hope he doesn't get to manage them.Youve answered your own question, youre not sure he could do it at a higher level.
Hes done ok here but if he was a good manager he wouldve had a job down south. Stop and think why he wasnt offered a bigger job than Kilmarnock.
The whole "thank god for Chelsea taking me away from this" was genuinely hilarious.
That'll be the same Chelsea who, whilst Clarke was there, saw their support riot in their own stadium after relegation, their youth coaches allegedly racially and physically abuse black kids in their own youth system and whose chairman had to come out and tell their support to wrap the anti semetic abuse towards Avram Grant.
Clarke can take his hypocrisy and ram it up his bitter arse.
Cant stop you being worried but as ive said if he was a good manager he wouldnt be at Kilmarnock. Hes spent most of his career in England and done ok in 1st season at west brom but his career as a manager doesnt suggest to me that hes capable of managing a big club.He has done enough with a bunch of pretty average players for me to be worried that he could be a big success at Celtic so for me, I hope he doesn't get to manage them.
He's done far better than OK here to be honest but until he has been at a big club we will never know so that is the slight doubt I have.
I wouldn't have minded if he had been offered our job either in the summer.
Who remembers Lennie and his songs in a PUBlic bar.....not much said in the Scottish press then. Clarke is just another cnut. The lurgan bigot will be spinning in his pish this morning .. as Clark leapfrog him as flavour of the month poor abused manager stakes

Here I'll go further I hope he gets the mentally challengeds job, people on here think he's top notch.i'd just like to add here, everyone who suggested he become Rangers manager take a long hard look at yourself
and those in the locus who wanted both him AND mcinnes give up watching football altogether

Just like Walter did with us at times. I wouldn't use that to take away from a managers strengths. He sets his team up for Smash and Grab football. That will not work when the opposition are doing the same which teams do against us and the scum.
