Dire challenge by Spezia. But Immobile blasts the penalty high wide and not so handsome!

Ronaldo back on the bench again then. City must be favourites but they've been surprised before.

Pep loves a strange decision, Ake starts a big game with Laporte and Dias on the bench. Unless there's fitness issues or he's saving them but it's Copenhagen they've got in the week so hardly a huge task

Man Utd were starting to find some momentum with 4 straight wins which included Liverpool and Arsenal. They had 2 games postponed though before the international break so this is their first game nearly a month.

4-0 to Lazio right at the end. Another goal for Milinkovic-Savic. I see he's got 'Sergej' on the back of his shirt by the way!

I wonder if Alex Neil regrets moving to Stoke now? Playing out a drab 2-0 defeat in front of a half empty stadium. Boos ringing out for his brand of football.

Is Casimero just back from faraway international duty or carrying an injury?
McTominay has played well for United but you'd have thought the big money serial Champions League winner would play ahead of him in a huge game like this?

Just can't get in ahead of McTominay, who has been excellent.

ETH has really improved both him and Dalot.

Checking the City lineup and remembered I’ve got left over dumplings from the Chinese supermarket for tonight

Even that passage with all the city chances

The haaland movement is exceptional just one or two simple movements and creates a world of space for himself when Utd players move away
