RANGERS fans will be travelling in their thousands to see the club take on Blackpool tomorrow at Bloomfield Road.
Please note, Blackpool FC have provided the following information for supporters:
On behalf of Blackpool Football Club, the SLO team and our management and fans, we welcome all Rangers supporters to our ground. Travel safely and enjoy the game and your time in Blackpool.
Away fans are being seated in the East Stand and South Stand for this friendly game. For seats in blocks EA to ED entrance is via turnstiles 22-25 at the north-east corner of the stand. For seats in blocks EE to EH entrance is via turnstiles 18-21 at the south-east corner, by the BFC Hotel on Bloomfield Road. The away ticket collection booth can also be found on that south-east corner. The South Stand is accessed via turnstiles 13-17 on Bloomfield Road. (See also map below – though ignore the ‘away fans out’ arrow. Stewards will direct the exit on the day.)
COVID restrictions are no longer in force, but masks are optional under the concourse and fans are requested not to attend games if they have tested positive in recent days.
Please note that all the concessions inside the ground are now card-payment only (no cash), and smoking (including e-cigs) is not permitted.
Additionally, flags must carry a fire safety certification and no pyrotechnics are allowed into the ground.
Bloomfield Road stadium is a short walk from Blackpool South station and is on the tram route from Blackpool North station. Parking for private cars is available in the Council car parks along Seasiders Way and for official coaches on Central Drive.
Away fans friendly pubs near the ground are: The Castle (28-32 Central Drive FY1 5PZ), The Manchester Bar (231-233 Promenade FY1 6AH), Bloomfield Brewhouse (47 Ansdell Road FY1 6PW) and The Bridge (124 Lytham Road FY1 6DZ).
There are also numerous fast-food outlets, chippies, bars and restaurants in the town.
PROGRAMME SUBSCRIPTION: Rangers fans can now purchase a matchday programme subscription for the 2022/23 season. Additonally, MyGers members who purchase a subscription will be allocated 20 MyGers points. You have until 31 July 2022 to purchase online here.
