I was reading about the history of this itoday and how it came about being sung at the England Rugby.

We are being accused of being racist (which we are not) and it can have a meaning of ‘get us out of here’ - similar to what we would like today (I.e. out of Rebel infested Scotland or our persecuted situation).
The song is very spiritual and it will wind up the Nats and the Plastics due to the England connection.
Maybe one song we can add that we can’t get persecuted for.
