That is a remarkable stat. Our right back has been involved in 59 goals. Incredible.

He occasionally makes mistakes at the back but if you take away his attacking additions, we would be far, far worse off.

Those are the kind of stats that will get him noticed in England, for sure. Give the lad a pay-rise and get him on a 4-5 year deal.

A longer deal is a no brainer, we get a settled player coming into his peak years and if someone wants him then they pay top dollar, win win for the club.

I feel with a decent centre half (Bates/Alves/McCrorie.) on Tavs side and Candeias supporting Tavs with his tracking back, he has improved his all round game, his defending against the sheep was an absolute master class, last ditch tackles and clearances at the fore, and that’s before you talk of his attacking contribution, he is flying atm.
Get him signed up and show him,his worth to the team and the club.
