Team of students make it into the Europa league qualifiers

WELSH university football team have pocketed £193,000 after defying the odds to qualify for the Europa League.​

Minnows Cardiff Met Uni emerged triumphant to defeat Bala Town at Maes Tegid last night and reach the competition for the first time in their history.
Now the students, who failed at the final hurdle in their last three attempts at qualifying for the Europa, will be anxiously awaiting the Preliminary Round draw.
However, as dreams of potentially facing Manchester United or Wolves mount, they still face a tough ask before they can meet any of the Premier League giants.

Ideal draw for us. Great I’d they played it at the Millennium and cashed in on the bears that would travel. More likely to be at Cardiff City’s ground which would also be a great away match.

Before people say it's an ideal draw, they enter at the preliminary round and are unseeded for that so will need to win that tie before there's any chance of them drawing us.
