The Celtic social charter

At the last Equality Goal conference, which was co-sponsored by Rangers, Campbell Ogilvie stated that Rangers were ‘ashamed' of how they had handled issues linked to racism.

Did Campbell Ogilvie really say that?

They talked the talk but never walked the walk.
Their bitterness and open bigotry is as bad as i have seen in 50 years.
Indeedy.

Not surprised that there is no mention of the Walter Tull Trophy which was 100% a collective Rangers supporters initiative for the Football Fans Against Racism campaign of 2004.

With Rangers and Tottenham Hotspur both having connections with Tull, they played for the Trophy in a friendly that year, which Rangers won, and again in June last year, this time the Spurs emerging as the victors.

The event has gained far more publicity down south than in Scotland, no surprises there again. But helped no doubt by the fact that Lord Alan Sugar was all over it from the very start.

In England the publicity has sparked a series of further events, and commemorations in honour of Walter Tull. There has even been Royal Mail Stamps featuring WT and a street named after him.

Meanwhile in Scotland the focus of the moment remains all about Celtic pish patter and their vindictive propaganda. Just proves the old adage that talk is cheap. It’s not what you say timmy that matters, it’s what you do.

They want to brag about being the most equality-focused charitable organisation, but also love talking about how much more money they have than other clubs and how they’ll join the elite. And then the fans want to talk about how they’re poor oppressed people who are constantly frightened by bigots, but in another breath talk about being hard-nuts who are ‘undefeated’. It’s all confused and illogical propaganda.

Most people live in a myth and grow violently angry if anyone dares to tell them the truth about themselves.

They are driven by utter hatred, anyone who is not like them is fair game for attack.

They seem barely interested in the football any longer - it’s all political or social posturing.
They go to extraordinary lengths to infiltrate our message boards, or pretending to be “Rangers fans” on social media and phones ins.

Also their mingling with oppositions supporters when we are playing other teams is obsessive fruit loopery of the highest order.

A club like no other.

This is extraordinary behaviour - turning up at Rangers home matches where Celtic aren’t playing but wearing Celtic clobber.

Watt. Was he not the one who asked Postecoglou the question/non-question about the media not being his friends and compliance officers 'supporting' teams?

The sub heading says "we are looking at the schemes powerful impact", but no evidence of any impact at all in the article.

Just self praising diatribe about them self-indulging in patronising preaching to others but no repentance, or even any admission, of their own sins. Like latter day Pharisees.
