It’s not footballing ability, it’s not scoring goals.

it’s consistency and the willingness to dig in and get results even when you’re under the cosh and playing shite.

much has been made of their performances the last couple of weeks, yet low and behold they have managed to win every game since their draw at Kilmarnock, going behind to st Mirren and Livingston. We just can’t seem to do this.

what will it take to change this?
 
Plus the fact that although they've dominated Scottish football, but we're still all sides cup final/biggest game of the season. Add in the fact we're despised by all, adds more energy to the opposition. Corrupt refs, comical pundits creating conditions where maiming our players is all good. That's before we even get to our own in house issues. We're up against it, no doubt about it.

Buying 2 quality midfielders who can look after themselves when thing's get tough & who can shoot from outside the box ,

And if had stood against them treacle teeth would have been out demanding clarification which would put refs under pressue against them in future. However refs can do what they like with out matches as nothing will be said!
 
We didn’t play well today... But when we need an official to do his job, it’s not for the first time we were badly let down. Again.!
 
Dont think there is much difference in the squads its quite close, maybe they have the experience which helps, the corruption in refereeing is why theres no doubt Celtic will win it.

The team can’t think like that, it becomes a barrier they can’t get over. They need a siege mentality.
 
The difference is clearly they know how to grind out results and win games, we don’t.

It’s as simple as that, folk seem to have erased last season and the season before from their minds.

The filth were coasting to the title with embarrassing ease before it was halted, it had nothing to do with referees.

mentally challengeds would've won that game 3-1 today because the flag goes up at the hibs goal and no ref would have the balls to chop off the goal in the last minute if it was them scoring it, what do you think it would take to change this? Maybe if we cause a referee's strike that would help.
 
Their defenders make mistakes but they score more goals and in the end they win games, we dont score enough goals to kill of games
 
They can play shite but will still dig out a win by a single goal

You can usually tell after 20 minutes in away games if we’re going to drop points

After Kent missed the chance at 2-1 I knew we’d concede again.

I don't think there's any point in arguing with them. The next 'big test' just becomes whichever one they shift the goal posts to every time. The first 'big test' was beating Aberdeen away in the first game of the season. Then to these negative, toxic people it wasn't the 'big test' but the Livingston game was. If we beat Livingston then this would have been the 'big test' today. They normally annoy me but this season it's annoying me much more than ever before.

That is a frustration I have with Gerrard.

We may all hate him, but if that’s Lennon, he makes it abundantly clear that the refereeing wasn’t acceptable today.

Years of pressure on the referees from mentally challengeds has worked a treat, we’re missing a trick with our passive niceties.

Stevie just needs to call it out at every opportunity.

Say the same about Gerrard after every game we are done by decisions

He either fails to highlight it or glosses over it

If that was Lennon today you can guarantee he’d have made a big fuss about it.

We are so naive as is our manager when it comes to things like this

We make it far too easy for referees to call all the important decisions against us.
 
One finds a way not to win on a regular basis.
One finds a way to win consistently.

Losers v winners, and that's nothing to do with football ability.
 
We don’t have that winning combative midfielder for starters. Its not been addressed in the two years that Gerrard has been here. The honeymoon is over, we aren’t going to win anything being nice and nice to watch.

Defies belief that Gerrard cant sign someone in his mould as a midfielder. It’s what we need
Two midfielders and a wide attacker still needed
 
Gutted about today but it's only September we have been on a good run to date especially having the shut outs. It is what it is a draw against cheats and hammer throwers.

Chins up fellow Bears and we will be back to winning ways soon. Long season ahead and looking forward to it.

One major difference is that they don't need about 20 or so one-on-ones against the opposition keeper to score a goal. We fluffed three today; they would have buried at least one of them.
 
Until our management and board grow a set against the way things are run in Scotland ! Then nothing will change. Everyone rightly gunning for manager ! But once again where’s this tactical genius in Beale ??? At the moment looks like Ian is in the dugout. European hangover ! We need to stop with this nonsense as next Sunday will be even more cloggers kicking shite out of us and refs waving play on.
 
Hibs next week could play exactly the same way they did today except:

They would be down to 8/9 men as two of Porteous, Hanlon or McGinn would have been off the park along with Wright
Their equaliser wouldnt have stood either way for offside or foul by Doige.
Last min goal would have stood and filth win 3-1

And no action would be taken against Lennon. None. Gerrard however, would be banned from the touchline.

Its this all day long we are a good side but the decisions against us are hurting us

At least one of their defense should have been off the park porteous alone for the elbow of the ball the hagi elbow was worse he raised his arm to make sure he caught him.

Like it or not if we win the league it's going to be in spite of them and the decisions but in hard games we will do points unless it's addressed by the club
 
Also when they bring their new signing on he scores the winner against Utd ours don’t that’s huge over a season too Itten just doesn’t look dangerous yet that mobs always seem to make a difference.
