The difference in reaction from non OF club fans

They have a compliant media and a nationalist Government that wants their support and sees us as everything that epitomises Britishness and Unionism.
As has been stated above, it's a propaganda war.

Have been thinking about the Celtic situation. There really should be a public enquiry, as other large scale child abuse incidents have been looked at. I'm not sure how decisions to undertake one are reached but surely in the light of the number of convictions and victims it has to happen.

That same action should be taken agains the paedos as what we had to endure in 2012. They know no shame. Has there even been a public apology by septic?
You cant equate decades of systemic child abuse and its subsequent cover up by all at their club with 5 years of financial ‘irregularities’. There is none.

To suggest the latter deserves a harsher punishment is absurd.

However, on planet Scotland?

Sorry but the idea of propaganda, negative press or lack of PR strategy is a pretty poor excuse.

This is a paedophile ring and these are grown up human beings we are discussing.

If they aren't sickened by 50 years of child rape being given a safe place and consequently covered up then no amount of newspaper pages will ever change that.

They don't condemn it then they condone it.

It could be that the drive against us was that they thought we somehow got a sporting advantage through the years, and also that they thought relegating us split the dominance and they may have had more of a chance to win a trophy or 2 with us ‘out the picture’. Coupled that with hating us overall for our dominance and success.

The Paedophilia case is way, way beyond football. I’d imagine that the vast majority of ordinary people and supporters from other clubs will be disgusted by what has gone on so for the suggestion to be that nobody is saying anything because it’s Celtic is likely way off.

Let's put it to the test,in the name off common decency what is the worst being accused of financial mismanagement or a club from top to bottom racked with paedophilia and others prepared to go to any length to hide it, Common Decency rules apply.

that's a fair comment

The press and media set the temperature for these things.
If they fill their papers and spew outrage it puts a fire of indignation under the people who read the articles and increases the heat of public rage.
The newspapers and television studios can inflame public passions by asking opinions of MP's etc and even with the most limited response can place an article and highlight a headline to elevate the matter in the public mind ...if they so wish.

The job on Rangers was one that the press and media had an appetite for, they focussed their own negative animosity into the public perceptions and magnified the matter exponentially because it suited their agenda of hate to do so.

The seriousness of the issue itself is of no concern to the modern journalists.
Our tax issue was inconsequential to the public weal, yet it was inflated into a national matter, because those who controlled the narrative hated Rangers for sectarian and other tribal reasons, whilst the abuse of hundreds of children by football coaches being ignored by the parent football club and the wrecked ruined lives of so many in the face of a huge betrayal of trust, which is of huge consequence to the health of a normal society, will be downplayed because tribalism is now how Scotland rolls, little different to a banana republic in Africa.

A difficult reality to acknowledge but that is where we are today.

They should lose their license altogether.
The same punishment as us is not acceptable.
It is totally unreasonable to try and equate 5 years of dodgy finances with 5 decades of facilitating and perhaps participating in systematic child rape.
The only football punishment appropriate is permanent expulsion.
I can't see what else is appropriate for the level of depravity that is involved. They still to this day, refuse to accept any responsibility, despite the mountain of evidence that they at least knowingly permitted the abuse, and protected the perpetrators.
They are directly responsible for ruining the lives of hundreds of children.
Celtic deserve to suffer the fate they planned for Rangers.

They SHOULD BE RLEGATED same as we got.
With respect pelem, we weren’t relegated, we were thrown out of the SPL, and had to apply to join the SFL.
If the SFL had not supported our application to join them, then we would have been left with no league in which to play our football.
That we were relegated is just another lie spun by the Septic Cabal, in order that it looks that we were punished after a fair and just hearing.
We should NEVER use the word RELEGATION when discussing what happened to us in 2012 as it fits in with and gives credence to their agenda.

A disgusting club with the most disgusting personnel in place from the 60's thru to the present day.

It is quite frighteningly bizarre and horrific that an organisation with these alleged issues are still open for business.

Now I know no corporate criminality has been proven but a mountain of evidence is in the public domain.

To still ask people to pay to watch and support such a business is beyond disgusting.
Fans of Separate Entity FC are still turning up and believe it or not some take children along.
Let that sink in, grown ups take kids to a venue where other children were sodomized.

Fans of other teams are being asked to attend games at this crime scene and put money in the pocket of an organisation as yet to be taken to task.

Imagine this was any other organisation would they still be open, would kids be going along.

It is stomach turning in its depravity.
