Letters went out on 24th June so 28 days will be up on Wednesday 22nd July.
Lord Clark raised enough questions regarding the SPFL over the last three days (particularly their failure to produce documentation requested by the petitioners) resulting in an SFA Arbitration process to be carried out as instructed by the court and not in accordance with SFA written procedure.
Bear in mind also that the SPFL provided legal advice to Dundee Utd/Raith Rovers/Cove Rangers who had their case thrown out by the judge and they are now being stiffed for the court costs of that element. All other SPFL clubs effectively pay for the rest of the court costs and that is without addressing any Arbitration costs (with the possibility of further court costs and compensation on top of that).
Surely clubs will now step back from granting the SPFL Board these emergency powers given the mess they have left the Scottish game in is now all too apparent.
Hopefully there aren't too many 'YES' votes in already (there aren't enough to get them over the line on that one yet otherwise it would have been declared).
Surely most clubs just can't blindly give the cabal these powers now - it would be sheer madness to do so.
