The Juniors - 24/25 Season

Hoping to take in a few next seasin too, when we are away from home. Any idea when the fixtures come out?

Hoping McColl can see Lang back up, and play a wee bit of football. The last game I went down to watch was fckn awful, despite the McGinty last minute equaliser.
Tomorrow at 6pm for the fixtures

Surely you just take Peasy out and give their opponents a bye.
Too many big teams were drawn against one another is my guess- a redraw would ensure that many of them could be kept apart

In reality I’m pissed off because the Buffs had a bye in the first round

Cambuslang have a friendly on 17th july next weds against east kilbride thistle at showpark

Buffs 1 Talbot 3

Entertaining enough game for a friendly. Some
OG for the buffs goal :D

As an aside Kennie Young is an arsehole.
Talbot deserved the win

Lot of work still to be done at the Buffs - hopefully we can kick on from where Aitken left us with his dramatic resignation- we are needing a rebuild

That said 2-0 down at halftime was a result for us as Talbot dominated it really was men against boys in the first half- although we got slightly better in the second half- and yes our goal was a cracker just a pity no buffs player scored

Best of luck for the season

Forgotten what a moaning faced bassa Boylan is :D

What like was it mate?
Lok 1-0 up and utterly dominant. Conceded two screamers in the space of two minutes just before HT and then one from a set piece just after HT. Not much in the game from there on in.

Saturday at Bo'Ness an awful lot better. A lot of good performances and looked dangerous throughout. A few of the new signings look very promising - McPhee scored a penalty that he won, O'Kane looks handy in midfield and Ross Smith looks the part at the back.

Went through to Bo'ness mate.

Early days. O'Kane certainly adds a bit of physicality in midfield and McPhie looks like he could be useful. Smith looks experienced but well overweight. I think Ryan Truesdale might be a decent acquisition. Who knows? We shall need to wait and see.

I could've laughed at the hosts moaning about Pollok playing it like a cup final as they weren't shy in putting it about.

Not sure if I can be arsed with Wednesday night though, I'm not sure my patience could handle it.

Aye, certainly a bit of needle in the game(nothing over the top). The referee let a lot go both ways which the natives didn't seem to enjoy.

I will go on Wednesday barring something unforeseen but not really looking forward to it.

True mate, needless needle from them in the first place and then O'Kane sought out a bit of retribution - I hope he's not a hothead.

Speaking of which, I'll probably relent and head along on Wednesday. I'll no doubt have to practice some breathing exercises beforehand though and try to be Zen like at my usual perch. Hopefully, those miscreants keep well out my road over the other side of the pitch.

If I clock any Plod nearby beforehand though, I might just give it a bye - I'm on my holidays next week and don't want them ruined. The ball and chain would go off her nut.:p

KRR click on that for the image m8 as i cant remember how to post the pic, turns out Rossvale will be sharing with them as well. Noticed it on the WOSFL page.
Its a tidy wee ground albeit its astro but it at least has a wee stand compared to these other council run pitches that teams play on with astro and a fence round it with no spectator terracing or stand

If i can get finished from work i will be maybe heading up , my boy is a GK at EK thistle think hes on bench tonight
Enjoyed the game. 5-2 cambuslang, EK Thistle more than competed in the first half and would be fair to say be hard done by to be losing at the break. Equalised early in the second half but quality of EK dropped quite a bit once the subs were made

How did the Lang look? Another fully revamped squad for the season ahead.
