The kiosks today

Bought a burger at the Aberdeen game, stone cold and don’t think it had ever been a cow at any point. No cheese either and the bun was hard in certain parts. This was only 20mins in to the game as well.

The mistake folk keep making is thinking that the club cares about this. They don't and haven't for at least twenty years.

Every time I get a post match survey I don’t miss re the in stadium catering facilities, utter shite.
But it doesn’t change although they replied once and told me they cared

Lukewarm bovril!

Unforgivable at the fitba.

A lukewarm bovril? In the 80s and 90s molten lava was the only temperature of Bovril available

I can see the caterers underestimating the amount of hot food to prepare (but it's seems bizarre that they can't get it right when they are one of the few businesses that know exactly how many people will be attending each week, and have years and years of data to draw from.

But the posters saying they always run out of crisps and chocolate is bizarre. Why would you ever let yourself run short of non-perishable items that can just be reused at the next gamepeople are likely to add onto what they were planning to buy. To me that seems like an incredibly badly managed business.

What’s this about mate
Just the chairman doing his best Comical Ali impression at the Aberdeen game assuring the select fans that the club do care about them.

Except it's blatantly obvious that we are the least of their concerns.

Maybe he should take a walk through the building site in the Copland Rear then take a seat there where you can't see the goal line as the new section of the stand has been a cock up. Then at half time go down and try the food on offer maybe try get in to use the reduced toilet facilities and he would maybe see what the fans have to put up with.

Thats up there with when I was in hospitality at the Ramsdens cup final at Easter Road.

The spivs done the round before the game talking to people. Cant even remember the name of the smarmy English guy I spoke too. Needless to say they were nowhere after the game

I've boycotted these for years.

Until people stop spending money on this pish the club will not care and continue to allow this nonsense to continue.

I attend quite a number of games in England and our offering and standard of stuff is absolutely embarassing in comparison.

Not a penny more. Hit them where it hurts.

Why do they not have simple vending machines along the concourses that can do sandwiches, wraps, crisps, chocolate, etc? That would take some queues away from the kiosks.

Such a simple idea that would definitely work.

Club should look into this

I think they will have brought enough stock for the anticpated lower crowd. Probably more kids than usual today so a potentially bigger uptake of food. Poor planning in the event.

I had a Bovril pre-game. Surprised to see I was tapping for £3.30 - certain this was only £2.50 earlier in the season? Up by a third? Rinsed again!

12 quid for 36. Sell for 120 quid. Mad

I got a bovril a few years ago.Stone cold, took it back .After a few minutes of a glaikit stare from young server,he asked if I'd like another, I said "no,I'd like a hot one "
That totally confused the young fellow. B-)

we get it that the club are trying to get as much money into the club for the smallest outlay, but at some point the club really need to be seen to be giving something back to the support, "the sit back , give us your money and take what you're given" really isn't acceptable now (if it ever was), the club need to take the hit on this and get in catering that may deliver smaller income streams ,but will give the support much better options than what is currently being served up, to use an well remembered phrase "We Deserve Better"

And it’s smart arse comments like that, that hack the staff off. They are mainly kids 15/16 working their 1st job for pennies and the abuse they take is totally uncalled for. Ask for a supervisor and wait without abusing/heckling staff and let them get on with serving the ques and give the stuck to the supervisor, at least they are paid to deal with that. (Not getting at this comment in particular sorry just using it as an example, just frustrated at how some people feel entitled to shout and abuse staff when they can’t help not having anything or it not being correct)

I sit in Main Stand Front and there used to be a temporary food outlet for years at the top of the stairs and about three years ago they trialed all sorts of different pies and sausage rolls, they weee actually really good.
Bisgrove in his wisdom with the food supplier at the time removed the temporary kiosk causing much bigger queues on the main concourse of the main stand. I think it may have been down to the switch to cashless payments.
The food can be improved and the queues can be shorter.

Seriously?

The issue with our catering kiosks is they don’t have the facilities to cook burgers or hotdogs these are brought in already cooked and put in heated cupboards to keep them warm- sadly the heated areas only dries up the food and makes many items rock solid and inedible

but as long as people buy this type of pre prepared food that is basically reheated they will continue to churn it out without any concerns for the customers

The quality has never been brilliant, but edible and had choice. This season has been terrible in terms of supplies. Every game near enough all hot food is sold out in the BR before half time. Sounds like it’s the same everywhere then!

The BR is meant to be a family stand, the options, and state of it generally is so uninviting for kids!

Shocking, especially with the amount of kids there. Think most adult or season ticket holder would probably eat in NEH or the vans outside but for the younger kids who were at there first game a wee pie or hot dog to heat them up and not 1 hot thing was on offer to them.

You don’t need much of a brain or legacy data to know that cup fixtures against pub teams usually offers a great avenue for kids attending their first game.

Stock up on the junk food.

It’s a good money maker on days like that.
