The last group game in the Europa League

Rangers are 1 game away from winning our Europa League group. With Porto. Young boys and feyenoord. Before the Europa League was played. Nobody gave rangers a chance of topping the group. It just shows you how good Rangers have been playing in Europe this season. rangers played 4 qualifying rounds. And 5 group games. and only lost 1 game. That was the away game In Switzerland which we should have won.

I've just had a wee look. Young boys have played 2 games away from home. They scored 2 goals. Conceded 3 goals. Rangers played 2 home games. Scored 3 conceded 0 rangers also played 3 away games scored 4 conceded 5. I think rangers only conceding 5 goals in 5 European games and scoring 7 goals is pretty decent

Here's the teams rangers could face if rangers finish second

Sevilla
Copenhagen
Basel
Sporting Lisbon
Arsenal
Espanyol
KAA Gent
Borussia Monchengladbach
Braga
Manchester United
Ajax
Red Bull Salzburg
Inter Milan
Benfica

Europe suits our style of play alot more than our league, plenty of space and time on the ball and no teams putting 11 men in there own box parking the bus.

If we go through tonight, stay behind and give the team the credit they deserve.

They have done fantastically well and the support should show their appreciation. Not pathetically emptying with 15 mins to go.

In all honestly, Rangers aren’t getting anywhere the credit they deserve being top of this “group of death” at this stage. The same goes with Alfredo being top scorer while playing for the 4th seed team of such a competitive group. It’s really great to see.

Pretty impressive, will have played 14 European games by end of tonight. Qualify and likely only blip will hopefully have been Berne. If someone had said earlier in the season that away 'results' in Rotterdam, Warsaw and Porto were going to happen FF posters would have been telling them to lay off the booze :)

On another note if we do win tonight will this have been the first time we picked up 9 points at home in a group stage?
