The Last Man Standing Competition 9 - Round 2

What a terrible set of fixtures for this round :(

Sonowilliam 1 - Man City

Sonowilliam 2 - Man City

Sonowilliam 3 - Nottm For

Also just to let all know that there's no competition for next week as there's only eleven scheduled league fixtures due to the F.A Cup taking place.

Man City and forest not winning would be hilarious, even though I picked man City hahaha cmonnnn Luton, law of averages say they are due a draw lol

I pray you are right :) Despite TEN away defeats in a row, we (Luton) have still sold an incredible 1,500 plus tickets for Sunday's game at Forest. A match live on Sky with a noon kick off.

Luton have taken just one point in the last 21 and only 7 out of the last FORTY Five!

Sadly, there is no doubt that the two promotions in a row from the 4th tier has taken its toll. The Championship and it's obscene amounts of money being spent by most clubs, means we are WAY out of this league..............I actually credit our owners who insist they will NOT risk the overspending with money the club does not have - we have history of doing so in the past and paid a heavy price of being deducted FORTY points for it from 2007 - 2008.

They will only spend no more than 60% of revenue on signings/wages etc - as is the rules in Leagues 1 & 2. Until we get the new ground (only just this month actually finally going through - so expect to be in it 2023/24? as it will take 2 years to clear the town centre contaminated toxic site (used to be an old Power Station)

However they've made a boo boo with their job appointment for boss, giving an unproven manager in Jones a 3 & 1/2 year deal - plus letting him have an army of assistant - 'specialists' - all of whom would have to be paid off if he were sacked - as he SHOULD be!

The fans have turned on him but simply cannot on the saviours of the club - our Board since 2008, the 2020 consortium.

We have a hopeless manager in Graeme Jones & his assistant Gary Brabin, was a failure at Kenilworth Road when boss (2010-12) during part of our 5 non league Conference years - yet we have still sold out EVERY home league area at KR in 2019 & 2020 and also have our highest EVER away league average for 2019-20 at 1,640, in our history - some Premiership clubs don't average that!

I picked Man City too Monty_greenock34, but if both Forest and City lost (or even drew) I wouldn't be unhappy at the Hatters getting a valuable point.

But then again I backed us to beat Stranraer 4-0 tonight and we 'only' won 2-0 so what do I know? :))

Just realised I have missed a 3pm entry today. Not sure if it's in the rules or not but liverpool if its acceptable to add before their kick off tomorrow

Thought Man City had saved a load of us but then palace equalise
Happened to me the first round of competition 8....inverness went 2-1 up in the 85th minute at home to alloa and I thought I had a lucky escape only for alloa to get an equaliser in the 88th minute

Not been on this week so missed my pick! Am I still able to pick one for tomorrow?

If so can I have Leicester please, SoW.
