The Louden Tavern - Update

I have had many a fine day and night in the Louden since it opened and can't wait to get back in again.

I have no doubt you will come through the other end no matter how far away that might seem now.

All the best with this new idea. I feel for you and your team and hope you are all ok.

I will have to be dragged out in May celebrating 55

A side thought. Are you allowed to sell stock as a takeaway. I’m sure bears would be more than happy to help you empty your kegs and fridges

I dont suppose you have much choice mate, the time/money and effort that you have obviously piled into the pub deserves to be paid back in spades when the good/normal times return, and they will.
Not one single business will escape from this without taking a whack from some direction its unfortunate that the game you are in is the one suffering most, i dont get up too often but every time i do i am right in for a beer or three and will be again plenty times, good luck chin up.

ps get real butter for the rolls that spreadable stuff doesn’t cut it lol.

To be honest, I don't like butter but my family like Lurpark and that's what we use

I think about 90% of Businesses worldwide are taking a hit and we are no different. I will need to sell some of the family Silver to help out[ Memorabilia )

actually quick question. Can we “top up” a card or are they all bought separate ? As I will top mine up each time I can or each time I would have visited ?

Great idea with the vouchers Robert. Mine is bought and a couple more in our group are buying too.

Whatever memorabilia is up for auction; perhaps have a caution that it stays on the pub wall but sponsored by the winner by way of a plack for the winner?

We won't be selling any of our memorabilia that is in the pub, not even sure if I want to sell any of the stuff in my house, but as usual will, if the price is right

Thats a good idea sponsored by x business, let's other bears know where to place their business as well.
 
I know it might seem like a lifetime away but when Edmiston House opens under the new banner any gigs they get in there will be well attended, anyone coming by subway will be walking right past The Louden, that could be a winner if you can catch some heading both ways.
