The officials today have played a major part in the result

The officials decided the game. They failed to chalk off an offside goal. Yes, we should have been out of site. Doesn't change the fact we lost the cup to an incorrect decision. Sellick didn't win it, they were handed it.

The mistake was blatant...as blatant as you'd like.

Facts are...this will be simply be forgotten in time but the records will show Celtic won the cup.

All those saying we should have won anyway are missing the point.

We're getting robbed. A whole generation of young Gers fans, hungry for success are getting robbed.

And we're letting it happen in front of our eyes. And we've Gers fans going "Yeah well but we should have done scored ho hum".

If we keep turning the other cheek to these decisions then let me give you a Johhny Rotten quote...

"If you keep turning the other cheek then eventually you'll get a razor through it".

That's us. And we've had our razor to the cheek time and again., especially today.

Their offside goal should’ve been defended better regardless and giving away a free kick in the first place was unnecessary, infuriating goal too lose on so many levels

It was defended fine. We kept our defensive line and caught 3 of them offside.

We still have been playing now and still not have scored. Morelos, given how he was playing, would have smashed the retake right off Forster anyway. He has an uncanny ability to miss sitters against them

The match stats seem to suggest they had 19 fouls and only 2 bookings. Collum was incredibly lenient with their persistent fouling. There was a spell in the second half at 0-0 when he kept them in the game and refused to book them for 4 or 5 fouls in the space of 3 minutes. IMO that is blatant cheating.

What should we do?

honestly could still be there just now and not of scored.

Just one of they days.

They officials where a shambles though.

What should have our defenders done differently.
Our defenders played by the rules of the game
Their 3 players were offside for fucksake
They held a line and played three opposition players offside at a dead ball.
You see this every week and it is an easy call for the official charged with looking across the line.

Who is it that fckd up and didn't do their job correctly?

Are you actually fucking daft? They did exactly what they should have and played them offside, there is no better way to defend it. Jesus Christ.

We got a pen...we fucked it

Rangers lost the game,

The keeper was a yard off the line when the pen was taken which narrows the angle for the pen taker. It should have been retaken, shite as it was. Rules are rules and the officials didn't adhere to them. We should have had another pen when Brown took out Morelos from behind, rules are rules and the officials didn't adhere to them. Their goal was offside, the three players were in an offside position before the ball was even kicked. They were offside, rules are rules and must be adhered to.

The officials didn't apply the rules of the game therefore yes they are to blame.

If the officials did their job properly we would have won that game. Paedo FC had one shot on target the whole game and it was offside. It's not really that difficult to understand.

If Collum was a cheat why does he send off a Celtic player and give us a penalty? Surely that would have been the ideal point to cheat?

It was so blatant even Beaton would have given it.

In the last two games we have been on the end of wrong decisions which could cost us the league and definitely a cup!

You and your dignified silence squad have lot to answer for.

Who said anything about me advocating a dignified silence?

Two points and a cup have been lost in a week directly due to refereeing decisions.

But we deserve it, as a club, if we continue to remain silent.

We had 7 or 8 shots on target, missed a penalty and played against 10 men for half an hour.

The officials shouldn't even be in the conversation.
But they are because they failed to do their job properly. Like it or lump it officiating is an integral part of the game.

See this pish, mind blowing.

They incorrectly awarded an offside goal in a 1-0 yet they shouldn’t be in the conversation? Just plain stupidity.
