I was contacted a week ago by pollokprod who informed me of the passing of Mrs Clark on the 4th of January 2018 at the age of 82.
I was asked to contact Erskine on behalf of her son Jim who many will know from the Fergie Loyal in order that the family could honour their mothers memory by asking mourners not to bring floral tributes but to donate to the Erskine Home instead.
Their late father was a soldier and some of Jim's brother were born in Army hospitals abroad.
This morning I got a call from Jim telling me they had raised over £1420 for the home.
Thanks go from the family to Robert, the Fergie Loyal RSC, the Grapes bar, Saint Rollox BC.
And to all their family friends and workmates who contributed in memory of their mum.
Even the wee Jungle Jim next door.
The RSEA would like to pass on our sincere condolences and thank Jim and his family for thinking of Erskine at this sad time
