The Scottish sectarian industry in full flow

Predictable and embarrassing to watch it all unfold. Not to mention utterly abnormal.

The usual suspects cashing in, using the chance to fill their columns, getting their mugs on TV, and pushing their own agendas.

We've heard it all before. And we know that nothing positive will come from it all and that the elephant in the room will continue to be ignored.

Any outsiders must find it very strange how this country and it's press can be so restrained (even silent) about violence, child abuse and glorifying terrorism yet go batshit crazy when it comes to some name-calling.

We all know that the current storm in a teacup will fade away once the scum win their next game.

They are all fooling no-one.

Even the old cowards like Young and Keevins, who've ignored it for 40 - 50 years, have suddenly found their selective mhedia voices.

They could have spoken about it at any time in their paper columns or on the radio, but no. It took someone else raising the issue before they crawled out from under their stones, to have a one-sided pop.

Nauseating.

What did Young say ?

What did Young say ?
He mentioned that apartheid schools contribute towards the causes of sectarianism - fine - but why has it taken him decades to open his mouth on the subject ?

Decades, when he has had a print mhedia platform and a broadcast mhedia platform to get the message out.

Now, as his 'career' reaches it's death stage, he finally finds his voice.

Absolute cowardice.

I have a feeling a few know exactly what this is, an avenue for some to stay relevant and make money - the problem is , you speak up you are shot down

He’s always been one Bobby. Played against him once actually.

They need statistics to support their claims. Like how many people have died from being the subject to naughty chats,,.............

Most convicted IRA bombers were nice quiet guys who you wouldn't mind your daughter marrying, apparently .........

They don’t know because it doesn’t get reported on.

Probably because Young and people of his ilk who are basically institutionalised at places like the BBC couldn’t get a job anywhere else and just went with whatever the agenda happened to be.
Looking at the new breed of pundits they soon learn very quickly to last in their jobs they must join the Rangers hating agenda or their arses are out the door.
The real problem at BBC Shortbread are the bigots at the top of tree in this rancid organisation.

They are already dissecting the definition of sectarianism to separate us from the filth.

For example, yesterday the pseudo-intellectual Cosgrove (I know, I know) said that if you say “eff the pope, or eff the Queen, only one is sectarian “. He didn’t go on, but you can see where he is going.

They will claim one is political, the other is sectarian. Offensiveness won’t come into it - it is a one way street.

So predictable. But as the Queen is head of the Church of England
FTQ is just as “sectarian” as FTP surely.

They will pick away at the definition and conclude that only one is one deemed sectarian, the other merely distasteful.

We already see it with their support for the IRA. They argue supporting child killers is political not sectarian.

Keevins and Young are yesterday’s men, are complete cowards, who do not want to tackle ISSUES head on like historical child abuse, or sectarian activity in Scottish football.
They just toe the party line, to keep their jobs/ income, and to keep their bosses happy.
Weak individuals, with no creditability.

They need regular reminding of the Queens' status as head of the CoE.

If anything is to be done then a totally independent commission should be appointed. One independent of political part and even from another country. We need an unbiased and clear view of all sides of the situation. That includes the media’s part in ignoring chants from Celtic supports or in the case of ANDY WALKER actually making light of it. I want that independent organisation and report to critically view how the msp for Argyll and Bute holds a seat whilst he called us “huns” and to analyse why Tom English and Graham Spiers crawl out the woodwork only when Rangers are seemingly doing something wrong yet they ignore the rubber doll effigies and sweep all other issues under the carpet. Banners with ak-47’s and KAH etc.

Bring it on but only if it explores all of the actors in this situation NOT just big bad Rangers.

We must fight their lies.

Lets us not forget at one time their songs of hate were being promoted as folk songs and the IRA they were singing about was the jolly craicsters of the early 20th century. As if they weren't as sectarian as the Provo's.

Maybe someone should ask Cosgrove what's sectarian and not political about this;

19th Century Terrorist

Dictionary result for 19th Century Terrorist /ˈfiːnɪən/ noun

1. a member of the Irish Republican Brotherhood, a 19th-century revolutionary nationalist organization among the Irish in the US and Ireland. The 19th Century Terrorists staged an unsuccessful revolt in Ireland in 1867 and were responsible for isolated revolutionary acts against the British until the early 20th century, when they were gradually eclipsed by the IRA.

I'll not be told by some rat-bag with a job in media that voicing an opinion on the head of a cult of paedophiles and human traffickers, who've inflicted misery on countless people around the globe for centuries(indeed, millenia), is an illegal offence. All the while people who ignore said heads debauchery and depravity are apparently free to defame 'thee' figurehead of Britain and democracy ?!

It's utterly obfuscating how, with the knowledge of the magnitude of corroborated evidence piled up against the Catholic Church, anyone could or even would be pointed at as some troglodyte for having the fortitude to call them out for the utter bunch of cvnts they are..!!

While some will call chants over either at a football match distasteful, the fact is this tribalism is where we are yet one side is in reality protecting genuine monsters at the top of their tree. Hell, Celtic FC itself is a fine example of Catholic standards and mirrors it succinctly.

The head of this cult also told the people of Uganda that using condoms were worse than aids and that using condoms would actually spread the disease.

Both head of a church and of a state do either both are sectarian or moth not

You have to ask yourself, is this a coincidence that this sectarian issue, with attempts to make Rangers fans the really bad guys, is raising its head at a time when the courts are in the middle of the trials of five men, charged with sexually abusing young lads. Three have been found guilty and two others awaiting trial and they were all with Celtic football club when they committed their crimes.

It is possible that the art of deflection was invented by religious bodies but it has to be agreed that some religions have turned it into an art form.

Good point. Wouldn’t surprise me if this is actually a defensive tactic rather than deflection though. Ramping it up big time, making us out as hate filled bigots who would do anythything to blacken their name (no laughing at the back). When these cases are over and people start asking questions, any bear’s voice will be diluted and their views put down to point scoring (if they aren’t ignored in the first place)
