How is a new sponsor paying a large sum of cash a wtf moment?
In another episode of "Wtf is happening at Barca these days?"
They've bust announced Spotify as their new shirt sponsor, and new stadium naming partner.
£75m a season for the shirt, undisclosed for the stadium naming rights.
The wtf moment is Barca selling the naming rights to the Camp Nou after years and years of saying it would never happen. How is a new sponsor paying a large sum of cash a wtf moment?
We've went for the different approach of 75 brands on our shirt for a million eachSee tbh if they offered us even half of that they could call our stadium that and have their logo plastered all over our kits!
That’s a very kind offer but I’m guessing the appeal of branding a stadium in the Spanish league probably holds slightly more value than the spl where media coverage has the same reach and impact as a parish newsletter.See tbh if they offered us even half of that they could call our stadium that and have their logo plastered all over our kits!

Low hanging fruit, but well playedThe very definition of a revenue stream...
Hey that was the clever one. My other option was, "I hope being associated with a music service won't Roon Barca's image"Low hanging fruit, but well played
I might be wtong but am sure the UNICEF logo in the shirt was free to help their awarness to the charity.A long way from UNICEF!
Because not so long ago they were holier than thou and not even taking a shirt sponsor. How is a new sponsor paying a large sum of cash a wtf moment?

I’d have let them tattoo their logo on my arse if they were going to chuck 75M at Rangers.See tbh if they offered us even half of that they could call our stadium that and have their logo plastered all over our kits!

It was 5 seasons, 2006-11IIRC they did that for 1 season, the first with a sponsor
then moved onto actual paying ones the following season
