Seems to be quite a few separate people on Twitter seem to think there will be a big signing announcement today. Probably nonsense but won’t stop me being on here half the day.
 
Oh man, here we go again. FFS do something Ross Wilson so we can stop moaning about no signings and start complaining about the new signing
 
I’m currently WFH and don’t have loads to do, so every chance I’ll be in here regularly for the madness………..announce something Rangers, or even distract us with James Bisgrove’s latest commercial partner!

Does anyone else think its a bit odd the Rangers Review have a video today titled 'Should Rangers lack of Transfer Activity be a concern?'.

I know its pre-season and they don't have much to talk about but surely that isn't a genuine matter of discussion.

We've signed Souttar, extended Godson's contract and as things stand, I know there's speculation, the squad is very healthy. Bids may come in for certain players that we sell, as all clubs do, but this rush just to sign people is a sign of a weird internet generation desperate for stuff to happen constantly, that isn't how real life works.

Changed days from spending pre-season doing other things out-with the constant need for information about singings, all you got was a player being announced and on the back of the papers in the morning.

I miss those days.

Our team and squad needs a refresh, the champs league qualifiers are not far away and i can see why people are getting a bit anxious to why there is no movement in terms of people coming in.

Seriously doubt that, he had racked up 57 appearances before his injury. Only 19!

Are the players back today for pre-season training? Well majority of them anyway. Imagine Aribo still having a break.

Probably more wishful thinking and guess work than anything, with it being back to business days and no longer the weekend.
 
I ‘think’ (and apologises for stating the obvious) that our incoming transfers will depend heavily on who is heading out the door.

Where the clubs hands will be tied is how soon other teams stump up the money and of course meet our valuations

Our own success is probably our own biggest hinderance at the moment, having several players that will be of interest to other clubs.

Aribo, Morelos, Kent, Bassey are ones that will definitely be on the radar of other clubs. Don’t think we have seen such interest for one, never mind four of our players in a close season in recent times.

I think in general a lot of the soundbites are nonsense.

We have an interest in Bothiem yet bid for Colak who is probably seen as our 3rd choice striker if signed.
