The visiting fans chanted "f*** you Rangers" as they marched towards the 50,817 capacity ground ahead of kick-off.
And chaos erupted at half-time when the Feyenoord supporters tried to break through the segregation barrier.
One punter managed to force his way through the police wall, but was later grabbed by cops and escorted out of the ground.
Another fan was spotted wearing a green and white Celtic shirt as he gestured towards the home end.
Five cops were injured during the explosive Europa League tie - which has led to an investigation taking place.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland: "An investigation is under way after five incidents of police assault within the west stand of Ibrox stadium during the Rangers v Feyenoord match on September 19.

"Anyone with information or images of the incident is asked to contact Police Scotland."
Rangers went on to win the group stage match 1-0 after Sheyi Ojo's strike in the first half.
The return fixture at the Feyenoord Stadium in Holland will take place on November 28.
